As soon as I walked into Mind Factory, I could tell this place was unique compared to the other escape rooms I've played. The lobby is decked out in cool steampunk decor that sets the stage of being part of a special agency fighting supernatural crime. Dave, the owner, made us feel right at home. He was super friendly and gave us all the important info we needed before the game and some helpful tips and well-timed clues during the game. "Invasion" starts off extremely strong. You have solve a puzzle before even entering the game which I thought was a great touch to get you into the zone right away. The game environment is dark and a bit creepy which I absolutely loved since I am a fan of horror movies. Don't worry though there were plenty of flashlights to use throughout the game. The special effects, lighting, and props are top-notch it seriously feels like you're in a movie and not in a random room with locks and puzzles. The centerpiece of the room is this awesome 8ft demon that looks so realistic. It’s so well done that I would play again just to see that demon one more time. This alone would be enough for any escape room to be successful but the puzzles themselves stand on their own and are some of my favorites I've played. The puzzles themselves are a good mix of challenging and more straightforward ones which keeps the game moving smoothly. None of them were frustrating which is a huge plus since those are my least favorite escape room puzzles. The locker puzzle in particular was extremely unique and a lot of fun to solve and had an extremely rewarding "Ah Ha" moment. The game ends on a high note with crazy flashing lights and sounds that really gets your heart racing. I’ve played over 75 escape rooms, and I can honestly say "Invasion" is my favorite by far. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an immersive and exciting escape room experience. You won't be disappointed!

As soon as we walked into Mind Factory for "Breathless," the immersion was instant. The lobby is decked out in cool steampunk decor that sets the stage for what's to come. Dave, the owner, made us feel right at home. He was super friendly and gave us all the important info we needed to tackle the game, plus some handy tips and well-timed clues during the game. The set design is incredible. You don't just feel like you're solving puzzles you feel like you're part of a real-life story in a secret lab fighting a virus. The blend of analog puzzles and modern technology was perfect and I really enjoyed all the puzzles. Additionally, there is a fun twist with the door to the lab that makes the game much more challenging but way more fun. This twist forces you to use teamwork throughout the remainder of the game and causes a big adrenaline spike for the rest of the game. The difficulty level is just right and would be a fun challenge for both beginners and seasoned escape room enthusiasts. It's designed in such a way that you can't just breeze through it which makes solving each puzzle rewarding and adrenaline inducing. I also heard that they're planning to update the game soon with even more new technology. Considering how impressive the tech already is in "Breathless" this update sounds amazing. I’m definitely excited to go back and play the game again to see what new puzzles and special effects they've added to the game. Whether you're new to escape rooms or have been doing them for years, "Breathless" offers a rich and engaging experience that's fun and challenging from start to finish. I highly recommend checking it out—you won’t be disappointed!
