Rugrats: Search For The Losted Toys - CLOSEDThe Escape Game - OnlineEscape roomVirtual I will admit, I went into this without really knowing anything of the Rugrats (after my time sadly). It does not matter as you don't need to know anything. You have to help the babies find their toys! The room is well themed and has a great flow to it, we barely stopped the whole way through. There's a lot of locks but it's always relatively clear which code is for which lock, some puzzles/room effects lose their impact when played remotely. Video/Audio was stable throughout, Inventory also worked well.

Ready Mayor Two: A Matter of Time - CLOSEDRock Avenue Escape RoomEscape roomVirtual So I'd seen a lot of negative reviews for this room, I had an amazing time in Ready Mayor One and was a little worried that might get tarnished with this. Even this weekend I was seeing negative reviews but I had as good a time as RM1. Speaking to the owner afterwards, he's taken the comments on board and changed puzzles around so the flow is a lot better and there is a sense of urgency. I enjoyed this nearly as much as RM1 and if you'd been dithering about playing, don't, I had a great time!
Kidnap - CLOSEDEscape2Win - OnlineEscape roomVirtual Quite often you start in a room with a plethora of places to start looking, when you start in an almost blank slate it becomes a very different proposition. This is a good game that feels genuinely creepy at stages.
Project Avatar: First Mission - CLOSEDProject Avatar - OnlineEscape roomVirtual Believe the video game hype, like Catacombs, you come here for the experience, not the puzzles. I certainly felt like I was missing my controller at one point (I suffered with motion sickness at one stage which is a first). It's a slick operation they are polishing, I'm not sure if this is an escape room as we know them, it almost needs its own category.
Electromagnetic FieldsYouEscape: Online Live Escape RoomEscape roomVirtual Once again, a seemingly simple set of objects belies a complicated game, this one also relies on outside links and web pages and combines them in clever ways (we were so guilty of overthinking so much of this), these games are a lot of fun and heavy on the puzzling.

ElementsYouEscape: Online Live Escape RoomEscape roomVirtual Once again a fiendishly hard set of puzzles await you, Nick is your Avatar and is a calming voice as you wrestly with his puzzles, unlike most other rooms, you only look at objects on a table and in a google drive folder but they can and do make this work.
Ready Mayor One: Apartment A.I. - CLOSEDRock Avenue Escape RoomEscape roomVirtual Of all the virtual rooms I've played, this is the closest I've come to having the escape room 'experience'. Mayor 'Rob' is a great Avatar and there's a great mix of puzzles. I won't spoil what makes the interaction so good but this is unmissable!
Atlantis! - CLOSEDEscape One Algarve - OnlineEscape roomVirtual You start in a submarine but you soon leave that to explore a strange new world. This is a great room with a good story, our Avatar was excellent, possibly my favourite inventory system but make no mistake, this is a hard room, we did with 2 but we only had a couple of minutes left. Had a brilliant time throughout.
Secret Treasure of DubrovnikPuzzle Punks - OnlineEscape roomVirtual Puzzle Punks other room is a history tour of Dubrovnik that is both fun and educational. We were in a museum trying to find hidden treasure and 'Ivan' was our Avatar. A series of high tech and old style puzzles await, with each clue being delivered with a nugget of real history. Very enjoyable but it's not easy and can be quite devious at times.
SteampunkLost Escape Online Escape roomVirtual Another gorgeous room, very high tech and production values were off the chart. This is one room I'd have loved to do in person, only slight dampener was that we didn't get all the images we needed for when we found various puzzles but that really was a minor niggle.
Ruins: Forbidden Treasure - CLOSEDThe Escape Game - OnlineEscape roomVirtual Crashing into the Amazon Jungle you have to enter the temple, get the treasure before the curse claims you. A very high tech room with some clever puzzles throughout.
Save King's LandingPuzzle Punks - OnlineEscape roomVirtual A Game of Thrones Escape Room, in the same city where some of it was filmed! What GoT fan could pass this up. As before, any explicit GoT knowledge is not needed but you will recognise some of the imagery and ideas. Some incredibly clever puzzles guided by the Avatar of Ser Dondas who stayed in hilarious character the whole time, recommended.
The Laboratory - CLOSEDEscape One Algarve - OnlineEscape roomVirtual A one room remote play room with a science theme, this was a slow room to start as we must have spent 10 minutes just guiding the avatar around the room to see everything. Some clever ideas and some favourite old tropes, a diverting hour.
Magnum OpusYouEscape: Online Live Escape RoomEscape roomVirtual So the view is of four chests with locks, and some random objects and you control how your avatar manipulates these objects. Seemingly, it sounds boring but there some fascinating ideas here and it works as a concept.
