Sweethearts Ice Cream ParlourThe Cool SpaceEscape roomIRLAnother excellent escape room by the Cool Space! As a Valentine's date myself and my partner completed Sweethearts Ice Cream Parlour. Excellent set design and theme, nothing we saw broke the illusion we were in an ice cream parlour. The room timer was an interesting choice we would love to see implemented more thematically in other escape rooms in general. This is a more traditional escape room compared to Seance, which by all means is excellent as well We tackled this as a couple and it we both agreed it was a tricky escape room with very interesting multi-linear puzzles that could be solved at the same time which is great for bigger groups. The room's themes and story was interesting and consistent throughout our experience. It was nice to progress through puzzles and understand the context it has within the story. This was the first escape room which was personalised to our group (Don't want to spoil the surprise but it'll catch you off guard!) which was a really special for our Valentine's date. Josh was our excellent and friendly GM. It was great chatting to him about the room we just finished and ask questions about the Sweethearts Ice Cream Parlour Looking forward to future Cool Space rooms! Highly recommended!
SeanceThe Cool SpaceEscape roomIRLHad an absolute fun doing the seance today Usually single room escape rooms raise an eyebrow but was pleasantly surprised with how this experience went down. It's definitely a unique experience with things usually a short distance away from the seat. Have to say the puzzles were innovative enough that it kept us on our toes. The set design and atmosphere are great. Extra props to the designers for completely blocking out all the lights and getting us immersed in the room. Along with the sound design which was top notch. It's also great to have any "do not touch" stickers within the room as it feels like the owners trust us as the escapees with the puzzle not to touch anything that doesn't need to be touched. It's also great for immersion. Me and my partner were able to complete the room with some time to spare and have a great conversation with owners to learn more about escape rooms and the puzzles in the seance. Would highly recommend!
