I absolutely loved the entire venue and the incredible attention to detail that went into both the rooms and the game design. You could really tell how much thought, creativity and effort had gone into every aspect of the experience. Our Game Master, Alistair, was fantastic! He was incredibly enthusiastic, and it was obvious that he genuinely loves escape rooms. He was attentive throughout the entire game—even noticing when I quietly mumbled that I was cold and turning the heater on without us having to ask. After the game, he also gave us a really thorough rundown of the room and the puzzles. We were close to finishing, so he even gave us some bonus time to let us keep going rather than rushing us out, which we really appreciated. We played Torquay, and I absolutely loved how many puzzles there were! Every puzzle was beautifully thought out, challenging and creative, while fitting perfectly with the room’s aesthetic and theme. The whole experience felt incredibly immersive. Definitely one of the best escape rooms I’ve played, and I’d love to come back and try perpetual motion next!

Gameplay was ok, it’s more of an experience than an escape room so I found that some puzzles lacked a little bit of logic. It was also hard to hear what they were saying from the walkie talkie. Live actors did well, I could tell they’d rehearsed and all the effects were timed well. Game master and front desk staff were terrible and very transactional. They were so deadpan the entire time, they killed the mood immediately when we finished and ushered us out. Gave off 🙄 vibes.

The door lock opened early, we were in the room still trying to figure out the puzzle while technician had the door open and was using drill to fix loose door mechanism which was very loud. We then got interrupted again during the puzzle by staff to ask if we came late sounding like he wanted to kick us out of the room despite still having time on the clock and did not seem to want to account for the disruptions. Attitude of staff was very poor with no apology given.
