This is a must for escape room enthusiasts especially because this is maybe only one of two escape room air bnbs in the United States right now. The puzzles are numerous in this house so for just two people I was glad that we booked two nights so that we could space out the puzzling in between unpacking, sight seeing, and ordering meals to the house. There is a lot of searching involved throughout the house. Some puzzles are a little harder than others. But once we got to the third or fourth stage in the puzzles we flew through and were absolutely delighted and astounded by the craftsmanship of elements of the house. We cannot believe they built what they did into this old house from the seventies! So glad that we flew all the way out from CT to this experience. Also the home was very comfortable and the hosts provided us with snacks and drinks and cute decorations to celebrate our first wedding anniversary! So thoughtful and sweet! Also be prepared for many deer in the area that just wander the front yards of the quaint neighborhood. The hosts provided us with popcorn to feed them and at one point I got about a dozen deer to congregate in the yard! Overall a wonderful time and I can’t wait to do their second one based on Grimm’s fairytales!

Fantastic room - very unique theme and well done puzzles. This is a highly memorable room that lives up to all of its awards that it has received.

Sad this room is currently closed but when I played it back in 2017 it was so much fun! My group did have to play with strangers but in this case it turned out fine. It has a great collection of 80s technology and memorabilia and loved that there were hidden coupons around the room that gave you a free drink at an area bar. What a great idea for a local team up to support other businesses in the area! We found a coupon and went straight to that bar after we were done! This room was so delightful and at the end it had all these wonderful 80s clothes and signs you could take a group photo with. Definitely a fun stop if you are visiting in town!

This is a must visit if you are in Cooperstown. The theme is very on brand and while the room is not very high tech, there are some whimsical elements to it that make up for the many combination locks. Two people is enough if you are seasoned escape roomers but probably 3-4 would be good as it’s not a very large room.

What a fun and surprising escape room this is! The theme is hilarious and you slowly uncover the mystery of what happened to grandma. I love that you start out in her house and then progress more and more. Lots of fun hidden places and good use of technology. I did this room with 4 people but you can probably do 5-6 especially if some are newbies. Lots to do and solve and the ending, if you get there, is so fun like you are actually escaping!

Love this independent small escape room! This room isn’t particular high tech but definitely fun and nostalgic for anyone that loves the 80s. It was a very cute, solid escape room and I recommend 2-3 players since it is a small room.

This is a fun room if you don’t mind being locked up in two different cells! Love this theme and at first glance there is nothing that stand out to help you get out of your cell until you start poking around and realizing that many elements of the cell can be used if you are creative enough! A little bit of crawling is needed but this room is so much fun and definitely requires team work and communication. Plan to have at least 4 people in this.

Great room, great theme! Lots of great technology involved though still a good number of combination locks and directional locks. 3-4 people is a good amount for this room. There were some fun surprises and interesting puzzle elements at play.

Went to this room since it won a Golden Lock In Award. Absolutely so much fun and makes you feel like a kid again. Was wary because this room does not do private groups so you have the potential to book with strangers, which can make or break an experience sometimes. There were just two of us but then one stranger also booked and we were pleasantly surprised! We definitely needed the extra person because there was a lot to do in this room. I recommend 4-6 people for this room. This room had so many fun elements to it and I really enjoyed it.
