We’ve all done on average 50+ rooms yet we still needed a few nudges here, which was a great challenge. Jamie was our game master and he was fantastic. 10/10 recommend him and just to have a great time in this room!

Super enjoyed it, our group of 6 had a great time and all brains were used. It’s more spooky than horror, which is a super fun feel! Without exposing too much, it’s an amazing story to be a part of!
Lab RatHatch EscapesEscape roomIRLLab Rat is hands down one of my favorite rooms of all time! So creative, unexpected, and involved. We had a group of 7 but everyone still felt like they contributed. It was a good mix of newbies and veteran players, and we escaped with barely a minute or so left. There were puzzles in this game that I’ve never done elsewhere, must do when in LA!

You can tell the team loves what they do here in how they built the rooms and incorporated special elements! Had so much fun with our group of 6. There’s a lot going on here but as long as you communicate, it’s a great room :)

Loved that it was Benjamin’s Franklin themed with some fun facts integrated into the game play! We used a few nudges but other than those, pay attention and enjoy the history of it!
Dr. Hader’s Cartoon WorldScenario Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThe group I came with loved this room just as much if not more than the Rap room, but both have equally beautiful art and theme to them. The puzzles are fun to figure out together as a group but I think there was one slight malfunction on one of the machines. I might’ve personally enjoyed the other room more but overall, it’s a fun room.

Stash HouseStash HouseEscape roomIRLThis room is amazing but I have to say our group’s experience was stifled by the game master being too focused on giving us the answers instead of nudging hints. We had over 20 minutes to spare so there was no rush but I think the room is here is so focused on making sure every team finishes that they forgot we also like a challenge. Room is very creative and immersive for sure though, and it’s super fun to complete with a group of 6. Everyone was busy exploring and tackling a puzzle which was great. There’s a mystery feel to this space, and it makes up in theme and decor!
Irvine School Of Wizardry And The Dragon WandHidden DonkeyEscape roomIRLOne of my favorite rooms ever! Huge Harry Potter fan here and it was exceptionally creative and immersive! Highly recommend for all escape room enthusiasts, group of 6 was a good number, maybe even 4 is enough. You’ll think outside of the box here, and it’s worth every penny.

Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle60Out - MelroseEscape roomIRLGreat room, perfect for families with kids even. Beautiful design and theme, very on point with the Jumanji experience. One of the better rooms of the 60out franchise! Great mix of traditional and technical puzzles, made us think outside the box a little bit!
The Perfumer - CLOSEDQuest Room - HollywoodEscape roomIRLThis room was alright. It’s creative and the build is beautiful, and you’ll definitely use all your senses here, but there were a few elements in the room that maybe didn’t trigger the way it was supposed to? So I feel like we didn’t know if we actually completed those steps correctly but we did finish the room with time to spare. Some things are subjective so just pay attention.
Houdini60Out - Silver LakeEscape roomIRLOne of the better rooms here at the Echo Park 60out location, the room is meant for 5 people but we made it work with 6 and still had a good time. You do get a little physical here so be prepared! Not too difficult as long as you pay attention and communicate!
A Strange ThingCinema Escape Rooms - Los AlamitosEscape roomIRLIronically I had never watched Stranger Things when I did this room but it was fine even though I didn’t have any background or context. Now that I have watched the series though, it gives me a little more appreciation for the build and decor of the room! Creative and on point with the theme. We had a group of 6 and naturally paired off to complete different things, which was great. No hints for a group of escape room enthusiasts!
Hyde Circus60Out - Silver LakeEscape roomIRLDefinitely funner than I expected, but nothing too crazy. This room and Houdini are the only 2 rooms I’d recommend from this location. Group of 6 of us escaped, have to say the room came with more surprises one after another. Some of the puzzles didn’t make sense or didn’t trigger in the proper way so the room can use a bit of TLC but overall, it was a fun room to complete.
Amityville60Out - Silver LakeEscape roomIRLIt’s ok, easy room for enthusiasts, so if you’re looking for a challenging room, you can skip this one. But it was still fun to do and check off the list. Not too much of a horror or spooky factor, just slight eerieness!
Star Trek Discovery: Damage Control [prev. Star Trek: Quantum Filament] - CLOSEDEscapology - Town SquareEscape roomIRLBy far the most difficult escape room I’ve ever done and completed so far. Head was hurting and puzzles were very challenging, but it was great for a group of enthusiasts! If you’re looking for difficulty, come check this room out when you’re visiting Vegas!
Cartel: DEA Undercover - CLOSED60Out - Silver LakeEscape roomIRLStarted off cool but terrible! The worst escape room our group had ever done, was such a huge letdown. They didn’t check to see all hints were properly placed, and none of the clues made sense and we finished the room in less than 30 minutes. They modified the room from what it used to be (back then with more puzzles and challenges) but left all the props and decor there without any change to the gameplay. It was just terrible, don’t recommend. Put some TLC back into the room!
