AlcatrazEscape Zone CurnoEscape roomIRLWhile not an award-worthy escape, I hold Alcatraz pretty dearly in my heart both because of the different version of the handcuffed beginning, and because of two particular props in the last room which set the atmosphere well and give a glimpse of the technological ability of the Masters. Recommended if you're around and looking for a medium-easy escape!
Area 51Escape Room Bergamo - CronosEscape roomIRLFun execution of a concept that could easily go in vain... loved the final room! Good variety of riddle categories and fun starting requirement (nothing new but always fun, in my opinion), despite a bit out of topic. The only downside is that the introductive plot is never explained enough - or loudly enough on the intercom!
L’inferno Di Dante [Dante's Hell]Escape Room Bergamo - CronosEscape roomIRLI may be a sucker for the theme, but it also was an enjoyable experience! Scenography of better quality compared to some others in the city, most riddles were lock-average, but one was definitely more enlightening tech-wise and a refreshing novelty to see. Staff was competent and nice!
Super HeroesEscape Zone CurnoEscape roomIRLGood room for Marvel aficionados but not hard even if, like me, you have little-to-no knowledge of superheroes and the MCU. Doable even in small groups (we were discouraged by trying it as a pair, but managed to do the second lowest time ever). Nothing extraordinary but a good room nonetheless!
La ClinicaEscape Zone CurnoEscape roomIRLWhile no actors are present, some moments are made pretty spooky with innovative (to me, at the time) solutions that also immerse players in the atmosphere very well! The starting goal is to rejoin the whole group by collaborating, and this to me is always a good element to add to certain rooms. Recommended room, not extraordinary but nonetheless solid!
Secrets of EgyptBackdoor 1253Escape roomIRLThe pretense is great, the setting is good (even though it could use an improvement, at least on the walls of the last two rooms) and the riddles overall fit the general theme. A good room to recommend!
ChernobylAdventure Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThe puzzles are slightly more innovative than just combination puzzles, but the lack of necessary technical information on some of them ruins the flow. It's definitely the hardest room of the establishment, but it shouldn't be so because of inattentiveness.
Stanza Leonardo [Leonardo’s Room]Il Mistero del CastelloEscape roomIRLGreat concept, huge potential for the location (inside a castle from the XIV century)... very bad execution. Chaotic, a bit dilapidated, too full of distractors and most importantly (being that it was just updated) still with some old riddles now not in course anymore. Needless to say, old riddles that lead to combinations which are unused should be removed from the room. Doing that and just adding color coded locks-riddles (you spend in one room 85% of the escale, and there are many locks in it, so trying all of them is a time waster you can't allow yourself) would improve the experience hugely. Such a pity, for the only "escape in a castle" there is in Italy, as they advertise.
Alice nel Paese delle Meraviglie [Alice in Wonderland]Backdoor 1253Escape roomIRLOverall a decent experience, but... The room has potential, but being often played by families with children, set pieces are sometimes broken. Nothing that damages the experience as a whole, as the Masters are very active in helping and try to fix them as often as they're able to, but some might slip through the cracks. The first half of the room is more riddle-based and more enjoyable, while the second is more trial-based and the setting is also more cheaply made.
