Whilst in the NL we had to check out the #2 rated game of the world but we were warned that whilst it was doable with a group of 2, we would need to be fast and keep moving. We escaped, however, I can see why this room is more suited to 4+ people as there’s so much to do. The set is awesome, a lot of time and expertise (and love) has gone into making the whole experience something memorable but my goodness, with a team of 2, there was just so much moving around needed and so much to get through. It was very enjoyable but hard, still we are pleased to have experience the room as it really was something else!

Wow, this room is probably one of the biggest rooms I’ve ever seen, with rooms that lead into more rooms. Don’t let that put you off if you only have a small team though as the room is great for any number of team. Mostly designed to work individually on puzzles as you explore the rooms with the idea to collect as much loot as you can and escape in time. The set is awesome, the host was fab and a real fun must do room! This room literally has something for everyone!

We’ve done a couple of games here and always get great games masters who are enthusiastic about what they do. The set keeps on going for Outatime so there is lots to do and moments where it’s not always clear what you need elements for when you find them. That’s not a negative, just adds to the complexity of the puzzles and creates a really fun room with the potential for ‘penny drop’ moments. Doable with two people, you’ve just got to keep moving!

What a great room! Stash House currently has just the one escape room but as the name suggests you use the entire house. As you enter from the street, the lighting is already dimmed and after formalities you are left to find all the hidden drugs. We played as group of 2 which allowed us to be fully immersed in all the puzzles, however, we did max out on our time and didn’t have long on the clock left. A great ending (no spoilers) and definitely worth a visit. You won’t be disappointed!

We were visiting LA for a week and had heard Lab Rat was award winning and so we definitely had to squeeze in this room whilst here. The set is really fun and the room includes video along the way to keep the theme going. As a team of two we needed a few gentle nudges along the way and one big hint, reflecting back, it is unlikely we would have figured that bit out ourselves, but the room had some puzzles we’d not seen before and it’s easy to see why this room has done well. Great fun!

An escape room in a cave! What more can you want? Not a damp cave though. The set is quite something and this room is a fair challenge as a group of two so I wouldn’t recommend it unless you are semi experienced. There is an element of a tight space for one of the team and so choose wisely and eat lots of carrots beforehand. You’ll know why when you’ve done the room!

The set is really quite something in this one with what feels like endless puzzles and personally created a real panic towards the end thinking we wouldn’t escape in time. We did, with a fun ending. Needed a little nudge along the way but managed to escape with a group of two, although one or two more on the team might have helped.

There was no doubt this room was going to be something special after all the great reviews, from the minute you arrive, you’re already immersed in part of the set which is just incredible. With just one game here (with another in the making!), the detail and time that has gone into making this is off the scale. We loved every minute and will definitely be back to continue the storyline when the new room is complete.

Our first escape room in a cave and what a fab cave it is. Definitely worth a visit and the easier of the two rooms (this and Monuments) if you have a small/less experienced group. Really enjoyed this room, you won’t be disappointed.
