    Okay so had heard amazing things about this game and they were true! FOR THE MOST PART! That said, my major critique is that there was just far too much staff dialogue/script for my taste. This isn’t the fault of the staff (they were excellent) but the story needed to be shown not told because probably a good 30 minutes of the room was spent getting the story told to us by various characters and it messed with the pacing in a big way. As a set junkie, though, this one was unreal, tho, including an incredibly scene transition that truly needs to be seen to be believed.

    Ooooh what a cool room. Storyline is kind of nonexistent but tbh it doesn’t matter because there is so much great scenery, puzzles and overall just excellent vibes. Very neat tech, near to no combination locks and incredibly interesting sets. Certainly top 10 of the rooms I’ve done and depending on the day it may even crack the top 5. We had a great time and our game master, Dan was lovely.

    This had been on my list for forever and I’m so glad we got around to it! Super unique setting and story, and the puzzles were straightforward but still requires thought. Would definitely recommend!!

    This is definitely not the best theme I’ve done (a little overused if I’m being honest), but what an amazingly executed room from a basic theme! The space seems like one thing, but over the course of the room it reveals itself in the coolest ways. A good amount of things to do (I think you’d have trouble w smaller groups) without being overwhelming, and a super clever hint delivery system. I brought my escape room newbie friends and they LOVED it!

    I LOVED this game. So creative, including an opening sequence that I’d never seen before and a light but compelling storyline. Top 3 I’ve done for sure.

    Agh, unfortunately was a little disappointed by this room- feel like there’s a bit of a dearth of good escape rooms in the Greater DC region, so was super excited that this room was so highly rated, but we were a big group (maybe 6? 7?) and there was not nearly enough to keep us occupied in this room. It was mostly linear and a fair number of us were just hanging out. The setting is so so cool and the storyline pretty interesting so I just wish gameplay had been a bit more compelling!

    This was a super fun room, unique theming/story and a really kind game master (didn’t catch her name). Loved all the explicitly musical puzzles they were really creative and well connected to the theme! Also incredibly grateful that their pricing is such it’s not cost prohibitive for two people - so sick of these $75pp two person escape rooms making it inaccessible to do with 2!!! The cons: I wasn’t a huge fan of one of the two large physical puzzles, and some of the rooms were a little sparsely decorated. I was also just a little uncomfortable with the rooms ending, maybe I’m overly sensitive tho, YMMV. Still wholeheartedly recommend!

    Man I hate to say it but I think I have to stop letting Room Escape Artist’s reviews get my hype about rooms. I went into this expecting something amazing and got - an above average room, sure, especially for the area, but the puzzles were just okay! too many combination locks that seemed out of place in context and lots of reading clues. It was fine - but i wanted more!
