Definitely a memorable room. Game play flowed really well. Puzzles made sense. Decor and atmosphere were amazing. Really immersive and fun. *We completed this room as a team of 2

I was a bit disappointed in this room as I felt that a lot of the “puzzles” weren’t puzzles at all but rather a live game of eye-spy. Many if not most of the puzzles were more a reflection of your observational skills rather than your ability to solve puzzles. Some puzzles were time suckers either because it was difficult to hear or see, figuring out which door opened after solving, or because other parts of it were so distracting it took time to realize the answer part. I think that’s just lazy game making personally. The set was phenomenal though!

There were no technical issues, and everything worked seamlessly. The puzzles were well-crafted, logically connected, and designed to be solvable. Barnyard Winds is a standout escape room with top-notch quality in set design and a delightful whimsical theme. During our visit, everything worked flawlessly, and the puzzles were both fun and well thought out. This escape room is refreshingly unique and stands out from the crowd. Highly recommended for a fun and immersive adventure.

The escape room had impressive decor and visuals, but it seemed more focused on testing my ability to navigate in the dark and match small pictures, rather than genuinely challenging my puzzle-solving skills. Instead of enhancing the difficulty of solving puzzles, the poor lighting and tiny pictures felt like examples of subpar craftsmanship.

The set and quality were good, as the decor conveyed the home of a serial killer, minimalist design, yet effective use of hidden compartments. The props seamlessly integrated with the theme, enhancing the overall experience. One aspect that impressed me was the flawless functionality of all the props; there were no technical issues whatsoever. The gameplay and puzzles were intelligently designed, offering a cohesive and engaging experience. Despite the non-linear nature of the room, the gameplay flowed smoothly, eliminating any confusion about the next steps. The puzzles were meticulously crafted, encompassing various types that went beyond mere locks and combinations. I particularly enjoyed the multiple-level puzzles, where solving one challenge led to the next, fostering critical thinking and providing an extra layer of excitement without becoming unsolvable. The Game Master was friendly and approachable, but their assistance wasn’t necessary as we navigated through the puzzles. I appreciated the limited use of red herrings, where certain props cleverly hinted that they weren’t clues, adding a playful element without wasting much time. Importantly, the escape room was designed to be solvable, without fostering a sense of antagonism between the participants and the room itself. Given unlimited time, any person would have a fair chance of solving it. Overall, this escape room delivered an exceptional experience. Its attention to detail, thoughtful puzzle design, and immersive atmosphere made it a truly memorable adventure. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an engaging and thrilling escape room challenge.

This escape room had its highs and lows. The captivating set design and immersive atmosphere created a strong initial impression. However, the confusion caused by certain props, dim lighting, and missed clues, as well as the issue with broken equipment, dampened the experience. While the Game Master was generally helpful, their tendency to provide excessive information when asked for a clue disrupted the desired balance. Overall, while the room had the potential for a great experience, the occasional confusion and lack of clarity prevented it from reaching its full potential.

Definitely has a eerie/creepy feeling the set design was immersive and very large with multiple rooms.

Easily on of my top 5 ever! Very unique tech. Game was challenging but not impossible- just made you think. Very well done, hints were well done too - didn’t give too much away.

Poorly designed puzzles and a room full of obtuse hints. Was given so many directional hints in the beginning I wondered if that was to make up for the poor design and general player dissatisfaction. I felt like it was one of those “gotcha” rooms that whether you get out or not leaves you feeling like you have achieved nothing. Beautiful set though!
