AnarchyEscapade GamesEscape roomIRLAnarchy is easily one of the most intense rooms I’ve played! I got to beta test it this past week, and from the start the sound, lighting, and pacing immediately put you under pressure. The chaos feels intentional, not random. The scare actor is genuinely unsettling, and their timing is brutal — especially with the curated music they play when they enter, which instantly spikes the tension and throws off your focus. It’s a step down in intensity from Zoe: Reborn, but it still manages to be very scary in its own right. Even in a smaller space, the game design does a great job of maintaining tension, and one of the puzzles is easily one of the most creative I’ve seen in an escape room without feeling gimmicky. The game masters are awesome — locked in, helpful when needed, and clearly invested in the experience. Escapade Games is doing something really special with this room, and beta testing it only made me more excited to see what they bring next!
