Other Unlock games have had moments of frustration because of the wild solution to the puzzles. The app wasn’t as interactive as some of their other experiences, but I don’t actually think thats a negative.

Camp CalamityHunt a KillerEscape roomTabletopThis hunt a killer box struggles due to its reliance on an online website to solve all of the puzzles. I personally prefer tabletop experiences that stay completely offline. We made an entire dinner party based around this game which was fun for friends to gather around. There is a lot of reading, which is expected, but be prepared for that eventuality. Overall the game was middling, but the time spent with people as a result of the game was lovely.

Obviously bonus points to it if you’re a fan of Nancy Drew. Some of the components were very cheap and a lock became unable to be reused. You always hope these games can be replayed so you can pass it on to someone else to enjoy,

EXIT: The Game - The Sacred TempleThames & KosmosEscape roomTabletopOne of the best parts of this exit game is you dont have to destroy this one, so it can be passed along to others. There is one destructive puzzle that can be done without the destruction. The mini puzzles were cute and fun. Enjoyable way to spend an afternoon.

Not concerned with a story no one actually cares about its just a box ham packed with 10-ish puzzles most of which feel fresh to the format. Like many exit games this one is a one time play. Too much destruction happens to expect a second play from this box.
