Dr. Whack’s Elixir Of LifeThe Escape Game - GeorgetownEscape roomIRLIf you don’t want to play with randos, don’t go to the Escape Game. We thought we timed it perfectly to be alone, but two people joined within minutes of starting. It is what it is. Frankly, I thought this room was pretty bad and uneventful. I like misdirection, but there were items in this room that could’ve been cooler puzzles than what we actually solved. Decorations were broken, and it’s possible some of the puzzles were too. One puzzle didn’t work… then magically did. Surprised this one says “up to ten people” because it’s a small, straightforward room.
TitanicThe Escape Game - GeorgetownEscape roomIRLMost rooms in the area are the same type of puzzles, superficially themed to the respective room. Kinda like a cheap gloss. It’s refreshing that Titanic has a couple puzzles that are integrated into the design pretty inventively. The room doesn’t require more than two people, but since the puzzle style is more varied than others, it’s still pretty hard for two people with similar skill sets.
