Mind Trap

Had one really cool puzzle that we had never seen before! Enjoyed the hannibal theme!

I think this one is pretty boring. We didn’t escape because we wasted time solving puzzles that gave us clues to puzzles we had already solved. Do not overthink or overestimate—it’s spoon feeding you.

Torn on this one. Atmosphere was great, especially the first room. However, there were…so many locks. If you weren’t in the room when one was solved, you had no clue how it happened. It was probably too easy for 6 people. That said, it was definitely a good room for beginners or a smaller group!

Good room! Definitely linear and a bit simple but still a ton of fun with new player.

A fun game from the Great Escape. We actually set the record of 27:04! We really liked the transition between rooms and the end of the game. One puzzle really got our hands wet, though with blood or water I won’t say ;)

TL;DR: It was alright, but the ending was pretty bad. The atmosphere was good. Not quite as good as some of their other rooms but still better than the superhero room. It wasn’t scary like other comments have mentioned, but the design is a little spooky. Gameplay is where I had some ups and downs. The puzzles were pretty alright. Pretty standard stuff for the most part. One puzzle we all agreed was pretty fun even if it was simple. Although I didn’t like how the clues to solve it literally spelled out what to do, it was still a cool trick nonetheless. One puzzle we actually solved by accident, which was funny, but when they said how you were supposed to get the answer I thought it was a little far fetched. Unfortunately the ending is what really brought the experience down for me. It was one of the most anticlimactic endings I’ve had in an escape room, and it didn’t really make sense in context of the whole story of the room. It felt like a cheap trick. It didn’t help that the final step after that didn’t even end up working. Overall we still had a good time. It definitely was not a super hard room overall, though it did have a tough puzzle or two.

The room was pretty fun for us, lots of locks and some parts required manual triggering but overall the room was a great experience.

I would not say it was scary, but certainly was macabre. The set decorations were well done. The puzzles though fun, were mostly based on locks and combinations. Overall it was enjoyable, and would recommend it.

Not overly complicated. There were 2 of us and we had about 18 mins to spare. A couple things didn’t work exactly right but the game master helped us sort it out. This room might not be great if you have a large group.

Loved this room. It's the right amount of scary that isn't too distrracting.
