It hides its tech well, making it feel lower tech than it actually is - and that illusion was created with intention, to lean into the aesthetic. Highly impressed with the GM, who went above and beyond - not just with the room hints itself, but the all important "whoops we're having trouble finding the building" puzzle, as she offered remote turn by turn guidance when we were about a block away from the venue.
Haunted HouseEscapology - 30 RockEscape roomIRLRoom was great - solid flow with multiple moments that made full use of the space at hand, rewarding transitions, and a narrative that was compelling to follow through. Managed to deliver a spooky experience without dipping too far into pure horror that was appreciated, especially with a group of teammates newer to rooms. The Escaparium team went above and beyond to make everything leading up to the escape itself a great experience, from fielding multiple questions about special requests, to providing exceptionally clear instructions on how to gain access to the space when the World Cup Fan Village event complicated nearly everything in Rock Center. Beyond impressed at the customer service and accomodations.
