This is a one-of-a-kind (or soon to be three-of-a-kind) experience that is so overwhelmingly awesome, it’s hard to know where to begin. The decor and the design details will get your attention immediately and almost make you forget some really good puzzles and a really integrated and immersive experience. Stayed one night; excluding dinner, probably took us 4.5 hours. Just loved every bit of it - can’t recommend it enough.
Mr. Marvelous and Miss InformationXcape AdventuresEscape roomIRLAlways love the rooms at Xcape Adventures. Mr. Marvelous and Miss Information was unique - a superhero-themed room with two possible solutions (Note: this feature may change soon). Enjoyed the physical space allotted for this experience and the NPCs. Lots of humor displayed in this room as well.
Great Gold Bird [Immersive Theatre] - CLOSEDTwin Alchemy Escape roomIRLI’m so glad I got to experience this on its last day in Houston. It lived up to my Strange Bird expectations! Combined an escape room concept with a literal manhunt. Live actors involved, as well as travel. My only complaint? Mosquitoes! Iykyk Thank you Twin Alchemy and Strange Bird for this inventive and highly entertaining experience! ❤️
Haunted HouseEscapology - DallasEscape roomIRLWas excited to play Escapology’s new game, Haunted House. For the most part, it delivered. More spooky than scary - a couple of jump scares (not bad) and a storyline probably not good for kids. Puzzles weren’t too tough, but we did use a couple of hints. One or two features were difficult to discover without help. Overall, a good room for Escapology - step up from Scooby Doo; probably more similar to Manor Murder.
Bank HeistSherlock's Escape Rooms - DallasEscape roomIRLThis was a fun room. First bank heist one I’ve done. Pretty good setting; lots of locks with the safety deposit boxes, vault, desk, etc.. Wasn’t a hard room, but took us longer than I expected. Overall, 👍👍

Very physical game - lots of up and down stairs and some crawling. GM Bee was great, as well - also immediately one of my favorites! A must do room for enthusiasts!

We intentionally didn’t hurry because we were enjoying it, but ultimately tapped out at not even 30 mins. Apparently, one puzzle takes many teams a fair amount of time, but if you get it quickly (we did) - you’ll finish quickly.
The KidnappingBreakout Games - PlanoEscape roomIRLHad been wanting to do this one for awhile, as I know it’s one of their signature games. It was a good room, overall, but the story wasn’t well-developed and it just felt like a puzzle solving room. No immersion, even after being blindfolded and handcuffed to begin. This was the fastest we’ve ever escaped from a room. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Would return!
Operation Santa’s ListBack In Time Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLNice little Christmas-themed room. Not particularly difficult. It is a 45-minute room - NOT 60 as described on Morty. Fun for the season
The BooMont Hotel [Immersive Experience] - CLOSEDBaymoEscape roomOther Really enjoyed this pop-up experience. Located inside the Dallas Galleria, the BooMont Hotel is a sixty-minute experience somewhere between a haunted house and immersive experience. When you check-in, you will receive your room key and a small glass of champagne (I was there on “adult night” - this may not happen every night). You’ll hang out in the lobby for a few mins, get the back story on the hotel, and then the elevator operator will come and escort you to the 13th floor. All sorts of spooky (and fun) experiences await! This experience was similar to a smaller version of Meow Wolf, but with a definite mystery to solve. When you decide to leave, you’ll have to make a decision. Decide correctly and everyone is happy ever after. Choose the wrong one and….well, I don’t know what happens, because I chose the correct one!!! Good for small groups - everyone I saw was either solo or a couple. Public, with entry times spread out to minimize crowding. This was the company’s first time with this experience, but they have done others (including Snowday). I enjoyed it and though it was well-done. You can invest a lot or a little to the mystery itself, but the sets and scenery alone are worth the price of admission!
Cannibal's Den 2.0Quest Room - PlanoEscape roomIRLI’m not a scary escape room person AT ALL. I don’t go to haunted houses. But this room was great! Loved the design; the beginning; and the difficulty. We did have a few elements that didn’t work well (a keypad, a stool, and a flashlight) but otherwise, it was a lot of fun. Our GM (Arianna) was great and added a lot to the room. I do recommend this room highly (even if you are a scaredy cat like me). However, do know that there are disturbing elements in the room and there are some scary moments. But the room is worth all of that. Some really cool elements!
Cabin 13Back In Time Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLGood room. Enjoyable ghost-themed Summer camp room. Story worked and puzzles related well to the theme. GM gave too many hints early but after we asked him to stop, he did - which was appreciated. Medium difficulty but appropriate amount to do given that. Everything worked well and enjoyed some of the effects.

Lock Me If You CanEscapeXperienceEscape roomIRLFirst time visiting this company and had a good experience. GM was very welcoming - enjoyed talking past experiences with him. Basically a prison escape room, but with a twist. Instead of being handcuffed to a wall (as in other rooms), players start off being cuffed to a teammate. Teams are split into two separate rooms and as you’d expect, cooperation with the other room is needed. Rated as “hard” on Morty, this game is more a “medium”. But enjoyed it and will return to try the other rooms.

The mystery experience was well-plotted and well-clued. The escape experience was well-designed with some fun and challenging puzzles. Fantastic creative design, as always, by Russell and Amber! Plus, we (The Seekers) won! Woohoo!!
Red GiantQuest Room - PlanoEscape roomIRLReally enjoyed the room design (Egyptian pyramid) and some of the room features. The puzzles and tasks were pretty easy, except for two - one of which was unnecessarily difficult, in my opinion, and required knowledge not available in the room. The other was visually obscured and required guessing. Made a really enjoyable room a little less so.
