The DreamscapeThe Lodge of Lazarus CroweEscape roomIRLThe theme is so quirky and different - totally unexpected, but definitely appreciated. There was a lot of fun wordplay too. It was a little on the easy side, but really we just wanted more of it because we were having so much fun!

Lombino's CasinoIn Search Of An ExitEscape roomIRLThis is a full-on escape experience! The lobby is hilarious and full of nostalgia. The staff is funny and friendly. The escape rooms, quite simply, are epic. Having done 300+, both rooms are among the best we've seen. The overall game design was superb. The puzzles were unique, challenging, topical, and often humorous. Many of these we've never seen anywhere else. There were custom elements throughout that provided a steady stream of sportive surprises. And I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it! Thank you, Patrick!

20,000 Leagues Under the SeaNovel EscapeEscape roomIRLWe had such a great experience! Kel was our extremely fun and friendly gamemaster. The puzzles made sense and fit the theme very well. Definitely worth a stop for both casual players and enthusiasts. Can't wait to see what they come up with next!
Dead Man's CoveEscape Hour AustinEscape roomIRLEscape Hour Austin has some solid rooms, but Dead Man's Cove is a hidden treasure. We've played a lot of good pirate rooms and this is better than almost all of them. The set, the props, the theatrics, and the puzzles all make you feel like you're in a pirate movie.
Timeliner: Train Through TimeThe Escape Game - AustinEscape roomIRLThis was a fun take on a time machine room and the train elements were a nice twist. There was a lot of tech involved, although it was skewed more towards the theatrics than the puzzles. Most of the puzzles were well designed and fit their respective theme, but a couple were clearly afterthoughts. We would've liked one more era to explore because we escaped fairly quickly and weren't done enjoying the room yet.
Servants of SleightThe Escape Ventures - Clearwater [prev. The PassageTwisted Limits Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLWow! That's the only word that comes to mind when reminiscing about this room. The set design is incredible and the wow factor is off the charts. There are a couple of big reveals that will knock your socks off. Most of the puzzles are solid, but a couple were clearly designed for a larger group and became time sucks for our group of 2. So bring some friends and share the thrills!
Hidden Temple60 to Escape - GurneeEscape roomIRLThis is one of the best tomb rooms we've played. Great set design and immersion. Puzzles were logical and fit the theme well. Multiple impressive reveals kept the adrenaline flowing, leading to an intense finish.
Duke's Farm60 to Escape - GurneeEscape roomIRLHoly cow, what an awesome room! The theme is obviously unique and the story just gets crazier from there. The props are hilarious and the puzzles take full advantage of the theme. We're at 300+ rooms and Duke's Farm is among the very best!
Blast From The Past60 to Escape - GurneeEscape roomIRLThis was a pretty solid overall room. The story was quirky and there was a ton of great arcade nostalgia. It wasn't a very difficult room either, probably because everything was logical and just made sense. Sometimes easier rooms are nice because they leave you with enough mental energy to play another room - and 60 to Escape has a lot of great ones to try!
Bonus Fun Time Game Show ChallengeEscape FactorEscape roomIRLHave you ever wanted to be on a game show? This is probably the best best thing! Lots of references to classic game shows, great set design, and plenty of puzzles to keep a large group busy. The gamemaster is in the room with you to act as the game show host, but unlike some live actor experiences that make things awkward, this was a welcome addition to the room. Shout out to Brandon being an amazing host and nerding out about escape rooms afterward!
