Mystical Magic Emporium - CLOSEDLockbox Escape RoomEscape roomIRLPros; I liked that the puzzles make sense technically and they weren’t hard. It’s not linear, so two people can work on different puzzles at the same time. The staff is super friendly, and parking is easy. I really like that this location counts the amount of puzzles you have left Con; My boyfriend and I weren’t very impressed by the theming and decoration of the room, plus it’s only one room. It needs a lot of love and care, we thought it would be us in a “magic academy” not managing a magic store. So that’s misleading when booking the room. The puzzles also didn’t feel very creative
Mayan RuinsThink Escape Games - Fort LauderdaleEscape roomIRLI haven’t done a lot but this is probably my favorite escape room I’ve ever done. So many puzzles had very satisfying solutions, as well as cause and effect actions and the color and theming was amazing. It had the most rooms I’ve seen in an escape room. I went with 2 friends that have never done an escape room and they loved it, it’s a great introductory room to escape rooms if you want to introduce a friend to it. The story is linear so you definitely don’t need too many people to complete this one. Other reviews comment on the room being worn down but it’s only one small part and it didn’t take away from the great experience of the room for me. Extra Pro: You can order drinks at the front desk and order drinks with your game master while you’re in the room. I’ve never seen that anywhere and it was great!!
