Le Grand Hôtel De ParisThe One EscapeEscape roomIRLWhat an experience! As we are still not very used to horror rooms, I was a bit afraid going in, but this was such a blast, from beginning to end. It is scary, but in a fun way, and never too much. I loved the beginning, I loved the set design, I loved the acting, I loved the puzzles, I loved almost every single moment of the experience. The end is fantastic as well. If you are new to horror, don't let that stop you from playing this game. It really showed me that horror can be something I love, and I truly loved this game!
Zone 51 [Area 51]Live CinemaEscape roomIRLWow, what an experience! We had heard great things about this before entering, but nothing could have prepared me for what we experienced during these two hours. This is not a classic puzzle based escape room. The story and set progression is in the front, and it was done to almost perfection. The set design is of the absolute best I have ever seen, and parts of it, I cannot understand how anyone can ever make anything that looks better. The story is good, and easy to follow, and our actor, Gabriella, did an absolutely fantastic job, and we would never have guessed that it was only the second time she did the role in English. Since the actor is a big part of the experience, we thank Gabriella for making this truly special for us. There is always small things you can nitpick on, but I will choose to let you discover them (or not care about them) yourself. I would travel very, very far to play this, and I would give a lot to play it again for the first time!
Mission Galactique [Galactic Mission]Majestic Escape Game ParisEscape roomIRLI loved this game! The last game of a 20 game trip, and we had just played two of the best rooms I have ever played, so I was so happy with how much I liked this game. Whimsical is the word that came to mind while playing. A mechanism added playfulness and fun to the game, and it used its space very well. A great game, that I highly recommend as one of the better games in Paris!
Le Taxidermiste [The Taxidermist]Deep InsideEscape roomIRLTaxidermist was a beautiful room! From we opened the door, we got dragged into the world that they have made, and after we got to The City of Martyrs, we were already invested. We ended up spending a few hours in this city, and it feels alive, in more ways than one. The Taxidermist starts beautiful great, have good actor interactions, fun puzzles, and a great story. One segment in the game just had me grinning for the whole duration. The attention to detail is superb, and I loved every second of it.
Le Magicien De Paris [The Magician Of Paris]Deep InsideEscape roomIRLAfter The Taxidermist, we got told about the magician living in the City of Martyrs, and asked if we could help stopping his evil plan. We did of course say yes! As a magician myself, I am always intrigued by magic themed rooms, and this one did a great job of implementing some magic in the room, in a couple of interesting ways. The game gets a lot from being in this super cool world they have made, and without that, it wouldn't have been as special, but since it is, it ends up being a super cool experience. There was also the funniest easter egg I have ever seen in this game. It's only possible for a magician to understand, and I am so thankful that they added it. Moments like that, is truly special.
Le Palais De L'horreur [The Funhouse]Deep InsideEscape roomIRLAfter the magic show, we couldn't leave the City of Martyrs without a trip to the Funhouse first. Sadly, it was closed, and a mad, blind clown was roaming its halls. This was a pretty classic room, with a menace trying to get you, and you staying away. We have still not played a bunch of horror rooms, but really liked this one. Because the "rules" are very clear, I think this is a great room to play if you are dipping your toes into horror. Great interactions, and fun actor segments made this one stand out for me. Some good puzzles, but they were not the focus of the experience.
Sorciers [Witches]Le DonjonEscape roomIRLThis was a decent escape game, with some fun interactions. I liked it, and maybe I was tired after a full day of rooms, but I didn't fell in love with it. The world was fun, some of the interactions were great, and it had a few good puzzles. The set design was great! I would recommend it, but I liked the other two rooms we played from The Dungeon more than this one.
Le Nouveau Monde [The New World]Le DonjonEscape roomIRLThis was a great adventure! Don't wear your best clothes, don't be tall (this one is harder to do something with), and you'll have a wonderful time! It felt like an epic adventure, with many great sets, and a feeling of progression. Fun puzzles, and fun interactions. A couple of the interaction points felt a bit annoying at times, but it wasn't too bad. The finale felt a bit out of place, but other than that, this was one of the highlights of our 20 game trip to Paris.
La Crypte [The Crypt]Le DonjonEscape roomIRLThis was a pretty intense experience. It's hard to explain why, but this one made us scared (in a very fun way). That said, we are still working on getting used to horror, and it was not very extreme in any ways, just managed to play with us in a way that hit our group. The opening is great, our GM did a fantastic job with his acting, and there is one mechanism that really adds to the tension and fear level of the room. All in all a very fun experience, with a few good puzzles, but mostly, it was all about surviving!
Nautilus, L'Expédition AronnaxUnleash EscapeEscape roomIRLThis was a mixed bag of an experience. The set design is great. There is a lot to read, and that is always hard to pull off in a game like this. It worked decently, but I don't think everyone need to read everything. The more you read, the more of the story you follow along with, but it felt a bit too much. (The story is also not super interesting, and the few beats that are interesting, would be easy enough to distill) Some puzzles were fun, but a few were also a bit confusing, and especially the final puzzle was over almost before it started. I din enjoy my time here, and after hearing great stuff about their new experience Madness, I really want to go back and experience that.
Alpha DistrictEscape Time Le MansEscape roomIRLThis game was our main reason for going to Le Mans, and to Escape Time. Sitting at #16 in the TERPECA list in 2025, we had high hopes going in. I did like this game, but I didn't love it. I had a similar experience with another CyberPunk game that is also on the TERPECA list earlier this year (Cybercity 2049), but I don't think it's a theme problem for me. The biggest trouble I had with this game, was the excessive use of an old school escape room communication device, that really made me frustrated. The amount of times we were to use this, made a big impact on my enjoyment. The set design is great, the world is sprawling, and the puzzles are mostly fun. It just didn't click completely with me. For me, it's a great game, but not the best of the best in my book.
Archeon: Chapter 2Escape Time Le MansEscape roomIRLI'm just going to write one review for the two parts of this game, as they are very linked. We were intrigued by the concept of playing two different games in "one space", and it turned out to work really well. The two starts were different, and both had some fun interactions and puzzles. The "actual" games themselves were good, and with two fun settings. It's also fun to play a game without kind of knowing the setting before we start. Fun puzzles, decent sets, and a decent storyline, made these two games fun. The end puzzle of one of the chapters didn't click with us at all, and it ended up making the end pretty anticlimactic, but all in all, enjoyable games.

Projet OmegaEscape Time Le MansEscape roomIRLI really enjoyed the beginning of this game, and that it took a game mechanism that is usually just a little part of some games, and made it into a big part of the experience. It was still a pretty classic room, but with fun puzzles, and because of the thing kind of mentioned, I did like it better than I would have otherwise.
Les Naufragés Du Black StormEscape Time Le MansEscape roomIRLThe Black Storm was a classic escape room, that was still pretty fun. The set design was nice, and the puzzles were interesting. I also enjoyed the little side quest.
L'Expédition Maudite [The Doomed Expedition]One Hour – VoltaireEscape roomIRLThis was a pretty decent tomb style game. A good setting, and a decent set. I liked a few of the puzzles, and the «collection» part of the game was nice. The menace was an interesting addition, and I did enjoy it being there.
L'Abattoir [Slaughterhouse]One Hour – VoltaireEscape roomIRLWe haven’t done a lot of horror rooms yet, and with a 6 on the EacapeRoomers scale (we have played one 6 before), I was afraid this would be quite scary. One of the reasons I liked this one a lot, is because I didn’t find it that scary. The setting was scary, and the butcher was scary, but not to the point of feeling too scared. Some fun puzzling, even if one segment lasted too long, and included one of my least favorite type of puzzle. All in all, a great experience! Our GM also did a great job!
L'entrepôt Fantastique [The Fantastic Warehouse]Pandore & AssociésEscape roomIRLThis is a weird one to review. The setting, and everything around the game, is fantastic. The GM’s work was stellar, and a couple of surprises was super good. With that said, the game was lacking in puzzles, and the gameplay wasn’t my favorite. One segment especially, felt a bit weird, and the task based nature of it, wasn’t super fun. All in all, it was a fun experience, but I would have loved if the gameplay was better.
Le Fléau Du Druide [The Druid's Bane]The Quest Factory - Escape Game ParisEscape roomIRLThis was a surprise hit! I didn’t know a lot about this game, and it ended up being a delight. It had comedy, a little tension, and a fun space with some fun puzzles. Would I have liked it better if we had a bit more light? Yes, but it wasn’t overly problematic either. Our GM was great, and made the whole experience memorable! The gameplay is fun, with some twists and turns. I do recommend this one!
Mission Secrète [Secret Mission]The Game - Saint MichelEscape roomIRLThis was our first escape room on this trip to France. The experience started with our flight being two hours late, and we had to do a bit of running to be at the site…15 minutes late. We contacted The Game, and they were super nice, and let us play anyways. The game itself was good, but nothing special. It’s kind of hard to do a secret game, but it was done well. The game had some fun puzzles, and the setting was nice!
