It's been a few weeks since the Paris PD investigated, without success, a number of strange disapearing cases. Different sources lead you to the Voltaire slaughter house, this really weird abandoned place where body bags have been found.

This time One Hour changes the rules, you don't have to flee from a place but from a person ! Your goal ? To survive in the Voltaire slaughter house while being chased by the horrifying butcher. Similar to a slasher film, the slaughter house will make you loose your head.

If you don't want to be the next victims through the butchers sadistic hands, you had better try be more clever than him ,,,

Gael was a great GM… he was able to speak to us in English… we had a lot of fun with the puzzles and the set designs were nicely done…

If you’re up for a scary experience, this is a lot of fun. Sevan was amazing and welcoming. We would go back in a heartbeat if we were in Paris longer.

A wonderfully intricate escape room, probably as good as horror-themed escape rooms can be. The most impressive thing about it is how involved the game master has to be: they need to cycle between playing the butcher, to playing your guide and messaging you on whatsapp, to preparing the rest of the escape room while you play, which adjusts in difficulty based on how fast you're solving it. We were told there are 3 major diffficulties: Normal, Hard, Hardcore. We managed to get to Hard, where you kill the butcher, but some puzzles are skipped (the poison bottles puzzles and also finding the phone cable in the pig pen puzzle). As far as puzzles go, the initial section where the players are locked in separate cells but can collaborate to escape was my favorite. The rest of the room is also filled with elaborate and scary setpieces such as locking the doors, locking the conveyor belt etc. Also very impressive is how inter-connected all the mini-rooms in the abattoir are. It makes the room very immersive, in contrast to the linearity of the traditional "solve-one-room-unlock-the-next" escape rooms. Very impressed with the effort that goes into this room, and it is currently the best escape room I've experienced anywhere.
