EXIT: The Game - Advent Calendar - The Mystery of the Ice Cave

I LOVE Exit. Played every game type of love. But the advent calendar fell short for me. Perhaps advent calendars just don’t belong in the escape room realm, but I found myself losing momentum, skipping days because I forgot and overall losing interest. Gameplay was great, but it was like escaping but for five minutes a day.

Sure, it’s pretty. The artwork is indeed gorgeous but the appeal of the game ends there. It’s one of the most confusing games I’ve ever printed and I wish they’d have spent more time on puzzles and less time paying a graphic designer.
