Box One By Neil Patrick Harris
Theory11 Online
Escape room
Tabletop
Received this as a gift and was enraptured immediately. Beautifully designed, appropriately challenging, and very satisfying. Love that you can pass it along to friends for them to enjoy after you’ve finished.
Unlock! Timeless Adventures: The Noside Show
Space Cowboys
Escape room
Tabletop
This is a collection of three card-based escape games: The Noside Show, Arsène Lupin and the Great White Diamond, and Lost in the Time Warp. There is an accompanying app with additional elements. We had fun piecing these together, save for a few frustrating moments. Good fun for the pair of us.
Mystery On The Mary Celestial
Mind Masters
Escape room
Tabletop
Loved the mystery-in-space theme of this one. The online complements to the provided materials integrated well. Very creative and entertaining game that made for a fun evening at home.
Game II. Cabaret In Lapin Blanc
Scarlet Envelope
Escape room
Tabletop
This is the second game in Chapter 1 of the Scarlet Envelope series and already we can see the connection between the games forming. It was a fun way to spend an evening. Really like how compact these are - great for taking on trips.
Game I. Newspaper. Intro To Mysteries
Scarlet Envelope
Escape room
Tabletop
The first game of Chapter 1 of the Scarlet Envelope series was a great introduction to the format. It’s a fun establishing game that gives you a look at how the following parts will go.
The Werewolf Experiment
Escape Room in a Box
Escape room
Tabletop
This game had a lot going on for two players. From the time we started, it was a scramble to find the correct puzzles and get them done fast. Definitely felt the pressure of the clock and it created a real sense of urgency. One puzzle took a lot longer than others, which was the only real frustration. All pages that were written on can be reprinted so the game can be passed along to friends, which is a nice touch.
Thornbright Mansion: Chapter 1
Envelescape
Escape room
Tabletop
Really cute concept! The room comes flat-packed and supported so it doesn’t bend during shipping. You unfold the card and a little world appears for you to explore. There is an online component that works in conjunction with the “room” to plug in answers to puzzles. Nothing super challenging, but still enjoyable.
