Holy. $#!?. This is 10000% in my top 3 escape rooms, if not 1st place. Amazing set, amazing humor, amazing puzzles, amazing finale. Literally one of the coolest experiences throughout.
The puzzles were simple in concept, but SUPER cool in design. Everything flows from one thing into the other perfectly, the visuals of the room compliment the design, and the end sequence is so cool.
My jaw hit the floor. Genuinely, it’s perfect 1930s-1950s style black and white with a mix of Dudley Doright. Everything in the room is hand-painted and genuinely i cannot imagine the time it took.
Tori was an awesome GM and gave us a perfect hint when we were playing.
Yes
One - the theme. Executes it perfectly and all the puzzles benefit it so much. Two - the game has a “Plotzy Tracker” that you get info from throughout. It’s like a small system to keep you on track, and it’s so good. You use it + a meta puzzle throughout. Finally, the end sequence is genuinely so cool and really well executed - it feels like a video game in the best way.
Come for this story - you will be laughing throughout. It’s so well paced and consistent, and every puzzle continues the story in a new and exciting way. Genuinely have not seen puzzles integrated so well before.
Hard
There is a GOOD amount to do - it will test every single facet of your visual, logical, spatial, mathematical, and outside-the-box thinking. And with the size of the game, you won’t have a lot of people to go with.
High tech
Projection mapping, interactive set pieces, sound and lights, and full video screens. All stellarly done.

The one thing - this game is SMALL. 2-5 is not a suggestion - it’s a “you will suffocate if you have more than that.” Come here when you want a good change for a group of 3-4 - real challenge for a duo.
Not scary
No spookiness at all.

Little kids can be in, but you need a strong team to complete this.

…we might’ve accidentally broke something, but the hosts were awesome and completely understood why it happened. Game was entirely still possible.

Some walking and maybe crouching.
Small spaces (no crawling, but thin doorways) - not ADA compliant for sure. Some elements down on the floor. Strobe lights in use and one audio-based puzzle.

Strip mall - very clear sign.

Strip mall with tons of parking.

This quickly moved into our top 5. So fun. We laughed a lot during the game. Very creative. Some unique puzzles. Definitely worth doing this one!
Loved the theme. Linear flow. Humorous.
Loved the immersion.
Tori was super nice.
Both our boys (14 and 16) played and contributed a lot.

From the moment you step into Crazy Train, you can tell it’s something special. Using a distinctly minimalist yet cartoonishly exaggerated aesthetic, the game makes an immediate impression. It plays just as good. The game flows extremely well, never hitting any major snags. Each task was consistently tactile and thematic, punctuated by narrative beats that added impact. The game space was perfect for a team of two, with more potentially making it a bit too crowded. When the game finally culminated in a frenzied series of task, Doldrick’s added excitement without forcing too much pressure on the players. This is the Crown Jewel of an already incredibly consistent company.
Silky smooth flow with great interactions and interesting meta puzzles
Minimalist yet highly immersive
Very welcoming and kind
Yes
Not only a rare incredible small group game, but plenty of unique, highly tactile interactions.
A bit silly, but endearing in its own way.
Medium
Bordering on easy, but there are a few more difficult-to-spot details.
High tech
Some locks, but plenty of compelling and invisible tech.

Very small, the fewer the better.

Quite easily one of the best escape rooms I have ever done! I am a HUGE fan of animation, and I grew up with old cartoons. The monochromatic cartoon design and Dick Dastardly villain Skeemin’ Plotz is PERFECT. I’ve done great rooms with similar aesthetics, but this room, which features legit original animation, takes the entire cartoon cake! The puzzles were very well signposted, the flow was like a cartoon episode, and the original music by the location’s owner was EXACTLY RIGHT! Our group of 2 managed to do it hintless, which is a testament to the excellently designed 75-minute experience! The tech is insane, and we got to see the huge machine that makes this marvel possible. This is even better than what Universal Studios itself has for classic animation! Even the funny opening video, which was made with so much character, had me smiling the entire time! During the final puzzle, which of course was AMAZING, my wife turned to me and proclaimed, “I’m having fun!” THAT’S HOW YOU KNOW! 20/10 room! Like any wonderful cartoon rerun, would do again! That villainous Skeemin’ Plotz must be stopped!

A magnetic door that wasn’t supposed to open until later, opened when my wife touched it, and it caused her finger to bleed 2 minutes into the game. Our caring GM showed concern, apologized, and asked if she needed a bandage. That malfunctioning door could have only been the work of the vile Skeemin’ Plotz.

Really fun, unique, it does have difficulty. Really creative, amazing theme, beautiful room and fun puzzles. The sound of one specific room can get a little bit overwhelming, but overall it's a must do experience

This is a visually super cool game, and a very inventive usage of a small space. I personally liked the somewhat cheesy animations, but it’s not going to be for everyone. There were a few puzzles that felt tedious. But generally a cool, very immersive experience
