Marcheurs de rêves [The Dreamwalkers]

I loved the bohemian and quirky quality of Dreamwalkers… it leans into its handcrafted charm and creates an alternate dreamscape that avoids the exacting sheen that can sometimes make other rooms seem lifeless. This room has soul and you can feel the hands of the artist(s) who made it. Our group did run into some problems with mechanisms in the room that failed after repeated inputs, but would eventually “click” if we kept trying (we had to do one small task over 15 times for it to work). While that did detract from our experience in the room, it did not diminish the joy of experiencing the singular artistic vision of the designers.

A unique and wondrous experience. Non-linear gameplay with puzzles aligned to the quirky story; an amazing performance by the GM; most definitely worth the trip

Actuellement dans mon top 3 des salles à Québec. Les décors sont extrêmement beaux, des transitions qui font fait WoW à plusieurs reprises. Beaucoup d’imagination dans les énigmes qui sont très bien trouvées. Notre MDJ, Aja, était une amour et jouais le jeu qu’on ont disait des bêtises ;) Seul bemol, nous avons eu un problème technique qui a stoppé notre progression pendant un petit bout de temps et la MdJ a dû entrer pour activer manuellement. Mais bon, c’est des choses qui arrivent 10/10 pour Marcheurs de Rêves!

Incredible design! One of my favourite room (and place in Quebec).

This one has been my favorite game for so long. It clearly inspired a miriad of other games that came after it. Even though I have heard it is getting a little old, I only have great memories from Dreamwalkers. For this short 60 minutes, I was allowed to be a little child again and evolve in decor reminiscing of my once bubbly imagination. The interactions with the game master are perfectly integrated to the theme. The riddles and puzzles are super fun to perform and figure out. If there is one room I wish I could erase my memory from so I can do it all over again, its this one!

Definitely need more than 2 people to play, but we loved everything about the concept and designs. Just a fun and wildly immersive experience! Merci!

Very unusual theme and game content. Like nothing I’ve experienced across 300 games played. Creative expression of being trapped in a child’s nightmares. Cool transitions throughout. A must play!
