A pretty enjoyable and funny time, Area 51 is their most straightforward room with mostly linear progression, and serviceable set dressing/design. It isn’t super intuitive, but when it works, it works really well. There are some bumps on your journey though. Design wise there are some inspired choices and as you progress there’s a handful of very neat surprises. There’s a fair bit of visual storytelling and cute Easter eggs throughout so you’ll want to keep a keen eye for every bit of fun references sneakily on display. As you progress, you’ll also experience a few very cool puzzles, some we haven’t seen before, while others can tend to be pretty standard fare and a bit of a drag that hamper the flow of your enjoyment. It’s really up to you how much you like locks (it’s a room that does show its age because of it). But the inspired choices more than make up for it, and there’s a lot original stuff going on that at least makes it worth checking out. Unfortunately, we know Escape Goat closes later this month, as will this room along with their others. So if you’re interested and in the area, go sooner than later.

The staff at Escape Goat are always super sweet! It was delightful to see them again & do their other rooms now that we had a team of 4 as opposed to 2. We enjoyed Area 51. I appreciated the humor

This was a very entertaining room. I personally got more “Men in Black” than “Area 51” type vibes from it but that’s not a complaint. There is a sense of humor throughout the set, props, story, and audiovisual effects. My only real suggestion is that a few of the puzzles require you to make some assumptions that aren’t really clued for how to translate data into numbers, and these are only confirmed by a lock opening (or not opening). But the puzzles themselves are good and we had a couple of laugh-out-loud moments. What more could one ask for? Recommended.

The room was well themed and all of the puzzles made sense. It’s a very easy room. We were a party of 2 and felt like we were blowing through it. Overall I would recommend.

Escaped with over 22 min left on the clock and with two players! Lots to do in this room and all of the puzzles make total sense. We love this company!

Escape Goat with another fun room! This was a cute, Alien themed adventure with some fun and interesting puzzles. Loved the fact that there was not one moment where our party of 4 werent all engaged in solving something or another. The story was fun and interesting, well themed and well designed.

This was a solid room! My team of 4 had a lot of fun and we felt like that was the right number of people for the space and puzzle volume. Good variety of puzzles and a fun theme! Nothing particularly novel or memorable, but it all flowed well and we definitely enjoyed our time. Would recommend!

It’s a fun little room. Lots of locks. Felt a little dated but it didn’t detract from the fun.
