Dragon Challenge: A Hero's Choice [prev. The Quest]

We tried the Dragon Challenge escape room, and had an amazing time! Nicely themed, very large room, variety of puzzles to complete, and fun storyline. Overall it was fun and had something for everyone while not being too difficult nor too easy. I’ll definitely be glad to try another room at Escape Ventures in the future!

Game was a lot of fun and game master Cassidy was amazing definitely will come back for more games!

Overall this room was fun. Some novel puzzles. Because it was nonlinear and we are a group of five-We all separated and worked and solved different puzzles simultaneously. This was great but we missed out on the parts we weren’t working on. We definitely enjoyed the room but because we solved it so quickly we left wanting a little more. We thought maybe there would be one more room. Our GM Sarina was great!

Dragon Challenge is a greatly fun room with puzzles that’ll make any hero need to scratch their head! The room is not too focused on story for the most part, with the puzzles and focus being closer to a traditional escape room! At times you can feel the influence of the previous owners in the style of puzzle and challenge, but luckily the workers make an experience that The Escape Ventures is known to give! Would recommend for anybody who wants some fun puzzles in a medieval style story!

We found this room to be the easiest of the three that we did at this location, despite it's rating. A warm and inviting room with lots of charming touches, each of which furthered the story more, or helped us solve a puzzle. It seems so easy to do a fantasy/dragon themed room and take it dark and moody, so this was a delightful change of trope.

Unbelievable! One of our favorite games. Atmosphere was over to top and staff are welcoming and very good at what they do.

Just a fantastic room. Very fun, engaging story, good puzzles (not too complicated but nothing simple). Some very original pieces. It was a nice change of pace to move though the room at a steady pace and not run into any piece that caused frustration. By no means a simple room but very very fun Non linear for pieces of the room, can easily accommodate 4 -5 adult sized humans GM for the run was stupendous (KJ II was outstanding) Cannot wait for the new game

Good escape room to play. Quite a few puzzles and locks. Especially if you have a large group of people.

We absolutely loved the Dragon’s Challenge escape room at Escape Ventures in Winter Garden. From the second you walk in, the atmosphere is unreal. The set design is incredibly immersive, with insane attention to detail — even the scent of the room adds to the experience. It truly feels like you’ve stepped into a fantasy world. The storyline is so fun and easy to get invested in. You’re not just solving puzzles, you’re part of an adventure, which makes everything feel more exciting and purposeful. The pacing of the game flows really well with the narrative, and each new area feels like a reveal. The puzzles were creative and unexpected in the best way. There were several elements we didn’t see coming, which kept the experience fresh and engaging. Nothing felt repetitive, and the variety of puzzle styles made teamwork important and rewarding. Overall, this room checks every box: immersive atmosphere, thoughtful design, unique puzzles, and a fun story. If you love themed escape rooms with strong storytelling and next-level set design, Dragon’s Challenge is a must-do. We’d happily recommend it to others.
