There were many irrelevant details in the rooms. Some puzzles required logical leaps that made them quite difficult. I rated this experience thumbs up solely because the physical puzzles were interesting and engaging. The GM had a fairly nonchalant attitude - he wasn’t rude but he also wasn’t energetic or giving off positive energy.

The vibes here are super sketchy. The GM was in the room constantly watching us. Additionally, he was cleaning stuff up the whole time. It completely ruined the experience. This was not worth $100. We were put in a room at the beginning to watch a rules video, and we watched the GM actually lock us in that room and unlock it when the video was over. That makes zero sense to me and it made me fearful of a room that isn’t scary. A lot of the puzzles were not following the story line. You go back and forth from room to room and some of the clues are not logical. I have done over 100 escapes rooms, and I wouldn’t recommend it at all. Also, the game master seemed very unhappy to be there. 0/10.

The atmosphere of the room was actually pretty good. Decent set pieces and some of the workings of the room were pretty impressive. The puzzles on the other hand were ok at best. Literally some things you just had to guess at with nothing really to help you understand the puzzle. Some of the devices didn’t work properly which led you to believe you had more to solve. Lost a fair amount of time just trying to get their things to work the right way. GM was pretty annoying. Stood in the room and just followed you around giving clues. Pulled you right out of any immersion the room offered. All in all… WAY better rooms in the Austin area. This is easily one to skip.

First time experiencing live actor in our game, was very put off by this, So with that overshadowing our experience we trudged ahead through broken puzzles and the aloof in room game master. Red herrings everywhere you turn and just a really oppressive feel with the slamming of axe throwing on the other-side of the wall.
