Thanks to documents taken from the Culper Ring archives, John Crawford was able to get his hands on the precious mineral. Former Lord Ravenswood’s assistant, young Crawford was devoured by jealousy when his old friend managed to develop the time machine. Power mad and determined to recreate the machine, he fled with some essential documents. But his efforts were futile and, in a burst of desperation, he murdered Ravenswood’s wife and daughter before disappearing. If no one knows where he is hiding, it is nonetheless true that he is today the greatest threat to the safety of the precious machine.
