It’s Tuesday 4th September 1666 and The Great Fire of London has been burning for two days. Order has begun to break down and chaos is threatening to erupt – fuelled by the rumours that the fire was started on purpose… Londoners are blaming every stranger that crosses their path. Is it another attack in the long running feud with the Catholics? A retaliation in the war with the Dutch? Or was it just an accident? Only one man knows the truth about how the fire started, and that man is Thomas Farriner, a baker from Pudding Lane, from whose bakery the first flames appeared on September 2nd… But with his house and, in fact, his entire street long destroyed, Farriner and his three children have fled to safety at the house of his brother David, on Mincing Lane. Meanwhile, a Frenchman by the name of Robert Hubert has been arrested on suspicion of starting the fire. If found guilty, he will hang, and although he doesn’t seem in his right mind, and his story doesn’t add up, the authorities want someone to blame and are ignoring their suspicions that he is innocent. In order to set things straight and stop London collapsing into paranoid anarchy, Thomas Farriner must be convinced to deliver a statement describing what really happened on the night of September 2nd through the door of the nearest church. But first, someone must brave the fiery streets and dastardly challenges in order to find him… The question then is, what will he decide to say? The fate of London awaits…

Such a wonderful room with incredible set design! It's like stepping back in time into the cobbled streets and characterful shop fronts. Such great immersion and set design. A few more tactile puzzles than your average room too which is nice. Quite a unique theme being the great fire of London, but great to feel educated and entertained at the same time. I can't wait to see what other rooms this company can produce, as this one really was high end. Thank you for bringing this quality to the South West :)

We were happy there was another new escape room in Plymouth, and Cronologic did not disappoint. An independent escape room owners and speaking with them you can sense the pride and excitement of having their own place. The Pudding Lane room was really good and theming was on point. Good story and puzzles that fit within the game idea. We look forward to their next room.
Brilliant owners, so friendly and really excited to have their own place

you know it’s amazing when you feel the urge to review as long as you get in the car! probably the best room we’ve done in the UK entirely. the theme is just perfect, you can see they put so much time and effort into making an amazing experience for people, and it definitely is what you have when you play. couldn’t recommend more!

Amazing room, great atmosphere and puzzles that were challenging but still logical. Claire and James are so kind and you can tell they love what they do. The detail in the room is great and it has everything from number locks to physical puzzles.

— A Sure Fire Hit — We were super eager to try out Plymouth’s newest escape room when we first heard about it, and to say we were amazed is doing it an injustice. The game itself was so much fun. Cronologic have certainly impressed us. This game has easily secured a slot in our top five rooms of all time. And since Pudding Lane is the venue’s debut, we have high hopes for their future experiences (or past experiences given the time travel theming)! Our Games Host, James, was equally brilliant. Whilst we didn’t need any hints during our time in the room, he was clearly watching us throughout to make sure we were on the right track and having a good time. His love for escape rooms really shone through; it’s clearly a game made by enthusiasts. The immense amount of work he and the other owner Claire have put into building the room didn’t go unnoticed from us. The set design is truly fantastic, from the cobbles under our feet to the authentic brickwork in the walls - everything felt nice to touch and feel, something that James seems especially proud of. We certainly appreciated the level of attention to detail in the set design, and this goes for the whole game. You feel it from the moment you enter the venue to the moment you leave! Thank you for an awesome hour and we look forward to returning when your next experience is ready! :)

This was such an amazing game! We were immediately wow’d walking into the room as we were met with a beautiful set design that transports you back to London 1666. They really have put the attention to detail in and it shows. The room was really fun, full of puzzles and lots of different varieties - not just non stop random padlocks! Puzzles were clear with just enough thinking required that they were fun but not too difficult or easy. We loved the room and our managed to escape with minimal hinting (as our GM knew we wouldn’t want many). James and Claire were brilliant hosts, so welcoming and very passionate. If you are able, do this room!!
Such a fun room with puzzles designed into the room itself! Clever puzzles that were fun to complete
The set design is unreal! The stone brick walls, the cobbled street, the wooden window frames around the shops - all perfect! It’s probably the best set design I have seen in a room!
James and Claire were lovely, welcoming hosts who are both so passionate about their new business and escape rooms overall!

There’s one bit of climbing needed (by one person)
One person needs to be able to climb over something (although do contact them and they can arrange a work around I’m sure!) The venue is on the first floor so isn’t wheelchair accessible.
