The year is 1912 and you and your group are the most trusted servants of Isidor and Ida Strauss. Isidor is, of course, the cofounder of Macy’s department store. You are in the fourth day of your voyage aboard the RMS Titanic. The ship has encountered a significant problem and Isador has pulled you aside stating it is his belief that the Titanic will sink. He has told you that as a gentleman he will not leave the ship, but he says this creates a problem for Macy’s. Specifically, he has told you that he has a cache of jewels he is taking to the department store and if they do not arrive in New York it will cause the department store significant financial stress. He is joining Ida on deck but he wants you to go to his First Class compartment and retrieve the jewels from the hidden strong room attached to his state room. He then wants you to save yourself and return the jewels to Macy’s in New York. The ship is already starting to list! Can you get the jewels, get back out of the room, and to a life boat in 60 minutes?

It's definitely a fine starter room, but I don't know if there's any more than just a few fun facts that's related to the Titanic. It could really be any cruise boat themed room with titanic notes sprinkled in. I'd probably give it a meh rating, it's not horrible, but definitely not good enough for a thumbs up.

Very creative design to this room.

I feel so disappointed about this room. It starts out somewhat interesting in the 1st room (especially with how the room itself is unique built), then the experience slowly capsizes after that. Best way I can describe it is that whoever made this room had no idea what to put it in a Titanic themed room, let alone even a ship room. Puzzles were random, unintuitive, and didn’t even make sense in the time period of the Titanic. The room choices felt uninspired too for what should have been a grand ship. It was uninteresting to the point where I was actually kind of bored while playing, which is a sinking feeling.
Staff is great at this location no matter how the rooms are!

Rating: 1/5 This was one of the worst rooms I've ever done. The first part of the set was visually appealing but it only got worse as we progressed, the Titanic theme was really promising but they botched it after the first room. There was also a red herring puzzle that wasted our time. And another puzzle apparently was so difficult for people that there was a sign telling us exactly how to solve it, that's terrible puzzle design. The item needed was also in a place that was hard to reach or see. Towards the end, there was an item in the room that was needed for a puzzle to operate, but it made a lot of noise and did not fit the theme so it took away the immersion. Overall the ending just felt anti-climactic. Our game master was also not paying attention to what we were doing and took a long time to respond.

Too easy and it felt like the game master didn’t want to be there.

This escape was way too easy (even for introductory level). Didn’t feel like a lot of thought and effort was put into the room. Plenty of better escape rooms out there
