Brave explorers, you have come out on a rescue mission to save all the victims of the Sweetie House Witch. Sadly even you couldn’t resist the temptation of her delicious looking cabin. After locking up one of your friends she vanished in a puff of sugary smoke and you now have only one hour to save your friend, find where the witch is hiding and defeat her for good to save the poor souls trapped here in the woods. Remember, fairy tales of Old tell us that a crystal ball can determine our fate. What they don’t tell you: you can change what lies ahead. All you need to do is burn the crystal ball into dust!

This is a very fun single room game. Technically it has two small other areas. Split start and lots of details. One of my favorite puzzles to date was in this room.

Colourful and enjoyable game. Split start made things fun for 2 experienced players and we enjoyed a mix of physical and mental puzzles. It was suited for our group as we both have different strengths so we felt both of us had moments to succeed. Not the most complex of Locked In Glasgow’s games but enjoyable nonetheless.

Got off to a bit of a slow start in this one with just two players as we got split up, but once we were into the main bit of the game there was only one point where we got stuck. That section was a little frustrating as it was more of a dexterity/aiming test rather than an actual puzzle, personally I’m not a big fan of challenges that have to be completed through some sort of physical element rather than by logic. Other than that it was a game that looked very cool, pretty atmospheric and had some nice puzzles.
