We’ve received an urgent plea for help from the family of world-renowned researcher and archeologist, Professor Robert Mortimer. He’s gone missing and nobody else seems willing to help track him down. Anna Mortimer has given us access to Professor Mortimer’s travel agency on Main Street. She says he spent long hours there, but since COVID hit the agency has been shut down. Still, he would go there every day and potter in his private office. We need you to get into Professor Mortimer’s office and find out what happened!

Urban Mysteries Co offer a travel-themed escape experience with ‘The Missing Professor’, a collection of archaeological props and artefacts amidst moderately challenging puzzles. The room sits a touch easier than ‘Lucidity’, and seemed to approximately be the same difficulty as ‘The Collector’. Our team of six was able to wrap up the main game and side missions within the hour. It was a fun room with a good sequence of puzzles!
The puzzles were well clued and enjoyable.
The travel agency felt like a travel agency, and the use of archaeological props made the room shine.
The Urban Mysteries Co team are always welcoming and kind.

Was a really good experience, but I wish that our game master was a little more hands off running our game! We seemed to have a puzzle piece for maybe 2 mins every time before help would come through over the speakers, which we felt was too much handholding that we ultimately didn’t need. It,didn’t give us enough of a chance to work out the puzzle ourselves, and then solved all but 1 of the side quests. Still a good room, beautifully decorated, would have been better puzzles given a chance to work them out :)
