Fractured

Room is a little old with a mixture of fun and somewhat frustrating puzzles. Certain puzzles had no obvious signs of where they were. Good room overall.

This is a very unique type of escape room, not a lot of puzzles or rooms, but a very clear storyline that uses the audiovisual aspects of the room well. I wouldn't say it was a particularly difficult room, lots of the puzzles requiring physical skill and patience as opposed to brain power. One of the very few rooms where the storyline is easy to remember and makes sense all the way throughout. My only concern was the GM was not the friendliest nor most helpful I've come across but that may just be a personality thing.

From the word go it became clear just how much time and thought went into the story of Fractured which more often than not can be a bit of an afterthought when designing escape rooms. ERM have found a way to cleverly use a reasonably small space and turn it into something awesome and meaningful. An engaging variation of puzzles complete with great attention to detail makes this a truly memorable experience.

I liked this room, had to really use our brains. The atmosphere was pretty cool, being in someone’s memories. I preferred this over the other room we did on the same day from the same place, Kellar’s Emporium.

Wow wow wow! Nothing like I’ve ever seen before! Absolutely incredible. One of my favourite all time.

This was an interesting room, they definitely captured the feeling of a troubled mind. Puzzles were challenging but not too difficult.
