You were deceived, you were misled, but you have no time to think about that now as your only instinct is survival, is escape. Can you handle the pressure? It’s life or death, you or them and you only have 60 minutes to get out. Will you be able to escape? You receive a message from an old roommate about an event you’ve only heard rumour about called, ‘Awaken’ where the 1% bet on the chances of survival of the game’s participants. They fight to the death similarly to SAW and the Purge: Anarchy, while you figure out who will survive and get to watch the events unfold from the comfort and safety of a viewing room. Excited by the message, you wait at your friend’s house for that notification on your phone in the middle of the night with an address, giving you 15 minutes to get there otherwise the doors will be shut for another calendar year. When you get the notification and arrive at the address, you are met by a surly fellow who explains the rules and leads you to a door. Brimming with excitement, you pay little attention to the details of the game and your surroundings as the door slams shut behind you. However, something seems off and you start to notice certain things. You begin to wonder where the friend who invited you is, where the other viewers are, you begin to notice how eerily quiet it is around you. You look around for a window from which you should be able to see the participants of the game, nothing. You begin to sweat as anxiety creeps into your stomach as you try to locate a door. Although you entered into the building earlier, somehow you find yourself outside of a house peering into the windows to see what is going on inside. At first, you experience disbelief and denial as your body switches from excitement to an adrenaline-fuelled panic. Your heart begins to thunder in your chest as excitement has evaporated and fear has taken its place as the horrifying realization hits you: You were not invited to watch the game… you were invite to he the game! Can you survive? Will you Escape? Your 60 minutes starts now!

Since I hate live actors in games, halfway through I begged them to stop (my friend surprised me with asking for it, so gave it a try) . It’s distracting for me that’s All. Very cool set!
