Difficult to describe what makes this game my personal favorite and a world's top ranking experience. Besides flawless execution and amazing decor and puzzle architecture that is mind blowing, it is a master class in story telling. It allows you to walk in and immerse yourself in a story without bashing you over the head with a "storyline". You flow through the experience in a first person perspective and Molly magically takes you through her experience. You never feel a hint coming at you, or wonder what you have to do next. You just kick back and let the story happen to you and flow through you. I swear at the end my partner had to remind me we were on a time limit because I was so engrossed in exploring Molly's world I forgot I was on a clock. Molly's Game will forever change your perception of immersive gaming experience for the better. A must for everyone's list.

I can see why this room is the number one on so many peoples lists. At his time, this room certainly set the stage for the next generation of escaperooms. The story was much more prominent, the puzzles were aazingly integrated and everything inside just felt bigger. From the momentt you step in you are teleported to another world. They want you to forget your own life for a moment and escape totally in this game and they certainly succeed in that mission. Right now you see more rooms of this grandure and idea. But this one set the stage. I would reccomend this to everyone who loves escaperooms.

The story was much more important in this room than in any room I played before

I think a lot of tech went behind this room. But everything felt very mechanical which I like

I play Molly's Game the day after I played The Dome and the two rooms form a fascinating juxtaposition when played back to back. I never had to worry about following the plot in Molly's Game - it really hit you over the head with the plot (which was, honestly, fairly guessable by the second room). The build is extensive, atmospheric and very detailed (although it got a little campy at points). Every aspect of the experience has been thought through and while not everything works, the highs are very ambitious and are incredibly impressive. Overall, I thought the puzzles were somewhat uneven, with some being somewhat prosaic and others very unique. The experience worked well with four players, I think more would be a crowd and two would feel a little lonely. Our GM was great, although the plot exposition ran a little long - but I appreciated understanding how different elements were integrated into the various puzzles.

Molly's Game manages to capture and perfect the essential "escape room". There's no actors, no horror, just a great story with challenging puzzles. We loved the game because it had such a great flow, it never felt easy to solve, but we almost never felt stuck. The puzzles throughout the game feel connected to each other, unlike other games where the puzzles are very clearly different. Yet it never felt repetitive to solve them.
