Woodbury's Wizarding School

The puzzles are thematically consistent and satisfying. They require a mix of logic, observation, teamwork, and a sense of wonder. The game flow feels natural, with discoveries in one area often leading seamlessly to the next. While knowledge of a certain popular wizarding franchise adds to the fun, it’s not at all necessary to succeed. The puzzles stand on their own merit.

This is a very tech heavy room… the puzzles are fun and magically inspired…

We did this one right after hide and squeak, done a few magic themed ones and this one was amazing and super fun!! More high tech but wow the effects were incredible. The overall theme and story was great and loved all the twists and turns. Ended really well and our game master was awesome. This company is amazing!

High thumbs up room! Super cute! Easy room that feels magical!! One transition element gave the wow factor. Really enjoyed the use of space and immersion of the room.

Great game master Chris is so great we had a fun time with the linear puzzles. Some high tech components slightly glitchy but with patience worked well

Sometimes you just want to play a fun, narratively consistent game where everything works, it’s all whimsical, and there are cool effects. When you do, play this room.

It's a tough call, but I think this was my favorite room at Exit Strategy. I didn't love the guidebook -- I prefer figuring out things more organically -- and suspect that players wanting a bigger challenge could mostly ignore it. There were two moments in the room that I wasn't quite expecting but found delightful. Like all Exit Strategy games, they aim for a 100% success rate, so this is not a difficult room, especially for enthusiasts. It's still well worth playing. That's not to say the game was perfect - there was a bit of a tech hiccup with a magical artifact. Talking to the GM afterwards, it's something they're aware of but seems difficult to fix.
