It’s August 2nd 1876, you’re in a saloon in Deadwood located in the Black Hills of the Dakota Territory. “Wild Bill” Hickok, gunfighter, gambler and lawman, has just been shot dead from behind while playing poker by an unsuccessful gambler, Jack McCall, better known as “Crooked Nose Jack”. McCall fled the saloon, but not before locking everyone in. You must escape in time to apprehend McCall before he flees town and see justice is done.

This was a fun room overall but fairly simple. A lot of solving puzzles to find keys to open locks but it wasn’t boring. Everything flowed well and there were no large leaps to be made. It wasn’t particularly interesting or new but it was a great take on a classic. Room and props could use some TLC as well

Really cool experience. Unlike most other escape rooms this one has a tablet feature for hints which was really great and helped guide the game with this room being one room. Staff was great

Probably my favorite game at Escape Thrill! It’s such a fun game to play. I really liked one of the final puzzles. GMs here are always fantastic!

A simple, novel, focused, but very fun and engaging escape room. The room surprisingly had more than met the eye, and there were some very cool surprises in places that didn’t seem like there would be any. Some of the puzzles are quite ingenious and unique. The story really helps sell the room and gives some urgency to the puzzles. This is a simple, straightforward “escape the room” scenario, but it’s done so with pretty good theming and pacing. I’m a sucker for all things Wild West and this is worth a gander if you are too partner 🤠

Was fun, a solid theme, and the puzzles were really quality and flowed together well. Even though prob needed more space or maybe another area. Puzzles kept coming and coming and was surprised even towards the end. Fun, low-key, but a good time out with the boys.

Not really unique, Wild West in some way or another done a lot, but good one
Was very loosely memorable. General vibe carried room with great puzzles.

A solid game overall. Had some fun puzzles and a decent atmosphere, but not very immersive as a whole. It’s mostly locks but most of the puzzles are totally logical. Definitely on the easy side.
Solid gameplay. Non linear for the most part. Mostly fun.

I loved that the puzzles stayed true to the theme and that there was a strong variety of puzzles and locks. I felt like we were able to move through most of the puzzles in a way that our energy stayed high.

Not incredibly impressive, but perfect for the room.
Isabel was lovely. For the most part, she was respectful of our hesitancy to accept clues, but reminded us that help was available.

The clock chimes you hear come from the TV to let you know that time has passed. We thought it was connected to a puzzle. It’s not. 😂

Family friendly…ish (there was a murder). Other than that, all good.

One puzzle took WAY more effort than it was supposed to. Our host had to help us overcome the challenge.

One puzzle requires just enough movement that I broke a sweat. 😅
Some puzzles require hight that cannot be achieved from a wheelchair and a few were in darker areas (the host provides themed lighting to help) and one relies on ability to distinguish color.

Good room for the most part. GM maybe not having a great day but puzzles were fun. We did two rooms here and they were solid. We preferred Skinned Alive but both worth doing.
GM seemed not super pleased to be working today. She was efficient and prepared but not “into” the adventure compared to many other GMs we have encountered. We speculated that maybe she was not having a great day. It did put a damper on our overall impression of the venue and rooms. The rooms themselves were solid but we might hesitate to come back to do their other rooms bc of that vibe.

This room has an electronic hint interface that we haven’t seen before. Still processing whether or not we like/prefer it. Sometimes interaction with the GM enhances the experience, especially if he/she is engaged and creative. The interface also revealed the sequence of puzzles to be solved which I don’t think we prefer.
