I did this with another group that was nice enough to let me play. We had a bit of a tough time getting started, but once we did, it was a lot of fun and challenging.

Rating: 3.5/5 Solid room and better than most suburb/small town places. We enjoyed it playing it as a couple, we got out with a couple min left but did have to use a few clues. I think at 1-2 people would've been more helpful, puzzles were fairly non-linear. Pros: -Good theming, enjoyed all the pirate stuff -Nice variety of puzzles -Very few padlocks, the ones they used felt appropriate to the theme -Decent amount of tech -At least a couple of cool reveals -Friendly and helpful owners Meh: -A couple puzzles didn't really click with us and the flow could've been better, but that's very subjective Cons: -No major cons, but some minor ones: -One mechanism was malfunctioning and required the game master to enter the room to reset it -The immersion factor didn't quite do it for me. I appreciate the effort and theming but there have been small town places elsewhere that impressed me more with their sets. What would take this room to the next level is if they stepped up the set design. Everything was covered by what looked like wood but it felt too new and clean (not weathered) for a pirate ship. All the objects just kinda felt randomly placed and it didn't feel quite like we were in a ship since there wasn't much done to hide that we were just in a regular rectangular room.

One of the better pirate rooms we've seen. Lots of fun and immersive puzzles and a couple of surprises we couldn't stop talking about.

What a fantastic room in an absolutely wonderful small business. The puzzles were my exact flavor of logic with some clever variety. The aesthetic is gorgeous, lots of unique handmade elements that give a classic feel to some very fun tech. I genuinely loved this room and had a great chat with one of the owners who was very welcoming. This ranks high on my list of favorite rooms. I highly recommend and will be back myself for the other rooms!

Fun room with an enthusiastic owner. Puzzles made logical sense, room was themed well, there was one particular puzzle that I often see done poorly in other rooms that was done very well here. You won't find this too hard if you're an enthusiast (we escaped with 2 people, had about 15 minutes left on the clock) but it will be a good challenge for a beginner group.

One puzzle did not solve correctly; GM stopped the clock and manually opened it for us. He said this was very unusual.
