Absolutely loved this one. Really high quality and obviously so much care is put into these. Gus and Patrick were fabulous hosts. One of my top rooms of all time. Clever, delightful, and fun. We did it with three enthusiasts and all had something to do at all times. Four would have also been fine. Can’t wait to try the third one at this location!

This is one of my favorite rooms I’ve done (50+ rooms)! Gus is absolutely fantastic and deserves all the love. Had a great Friday night :)

Fun fun fun 1980s Cold War themed room that will tickle your heart strings. Variety of novel puzzles provided a great flowy challenge for my group of four. Combine with Lambino’s casino first if you can for an extra mini game…and the super sanitary game show if you can for a hella good time. GM/creator is 11/10 - I’d watch his standup if he does it.

Absolutely fantastic. Would highly recommend doing all three games here if you can: there's bonus content before, after, and between games, which makes all the content flow together. This room had a ton of variety, and worked quite well with four players: we were able to split up and work well in parallel, without anyone standing around, but you were all close enough that you didn't feel as though you missed out on half of the game. There were also a few fun unexpected mechanics that were delightful discoveries: there were multiple exclamations of "OH THAT'S SO COOL" when we figured out how a puzzle worked. The hint system was also cheekily novel, and worked seamlessly with the whole theatrical experience. Way more fun than shouting into the void and seeing a note on a monitor. We normally try to complete all rooms without any hints, but didn't mind them at all here, as it just felt like a natural part of the story.

The pre game experience set the tone for my entire time and my group has so much fun in the game. My sense of whimsy was tickled.
Cluing was good, I encountered a puzzle mechanic that was novel to me, and loved it .

Just go. Stop reading the reviews, book the game now. Okay, if you are still reading, I don’t remember the last room I had that much fun in. Literally from the moment you step into the door, you know you’re in for a good time. I believe our GM was the owner, but he had us in stitches from beginning to end. So welcoming, just delightful. The room is a blast. Unique, quirky, I wish I could take everyone here. I wouldn’t take a massive group because the room would get cramped with a bunch of people in it. We had 4, including a friend who had never played before, and it was a perfect size. I sort of feel bad because his first escape room was so incredible that it’s going to be challenging to find one to the equivalent of this. Go support In Search of an Exit!!!

This place was GREAT! What is very clear is how much heart and love that Patrick puts into his escape rooms. He was very accommodating to us and Gus, our GM, was EXCEPTIONAL.

The people running this place really made it such a special experience! And it also helped that the room was super clever and had really unique puzzles that were difficult but rewarding to solve

Wow, 10/10! This escape room is truly one-of-a-kind. After trying so many others, this one still managed to blow our minds with its fresh, creative puzzles. We completed with 2, but there were a good amount of challenging puzzles, would recommend 4 if you have people that are newer to escape room in your group. The setting and theme are unbeatable. From the moment you walk in, you’re transported into a fully immersive retro world—every little detail has been carefully thought out. The puzzles are both fun and incredibly innovative; you can really see the amount of passion and effort the owner put into designing them. I was especially impressed by how the owner re-engineered vintage game machines—no easy feat! Overall, I think this place is seriously underrated. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Portland, even if you’re not an escape room enthusiast. The atmosphere and theme alone are enough to take your breath away.
