The Asylum

Asylum: A creepy insane asylum, a secret experiment, a heinous crime: we had to discover it all before the doctor discovered our presence in the asylum. Pros: We were warmly welcomed by the owner of this establishment who took the time to chat with us for a while before our game began. This interaction helped us to better connect to our game master before we dove into the stressful task of puzzle-solving. This is a brand-new business with only one room to-date. Still, we were impressed by their ability to use a few props to enhance an existing office space and create an asylum-themed room. The puzzles fit with the psycho mental ward theme and were generally logical overall. Cons: There were a few puzzles that could be slightly modified or clarified to improve the flow of the game and the player's experience. Still, the game master helped us quickly navigate through these small delays. There were a number of surprises that kept us on our toes as well. This is a good, solid room escape experience that we would especially recommend to newbies.

Pretty bummed that this room closed down. Definitely suspenseful and adrenaline pumping. This was my second horror themed escape room that I’ve done and man was I antsy. No live actors. Puzzles were fairly linear and the fear factor definitely affects you solving the puzzles. We made it out with a couple of minutes to spare!

This room was a lot of fun and challenging! We were given a riddle before we started and we’re able to get some additional time since we solved the riddle! The room itself doesn’t give much a way which makes you have to think a lot harder than usual. Nonetheless it was still immersive and one of my favorite rooms!

Well decorated room, what you would expect for an asylum but with some horrific twists. The game had some cool puzzles and I still remember clearly how it felt to this day even though I played it 4 years ago. We had a fun time and was looking forward to another game from them.
