Alien Invasion

My husband and I did a weekend trip and did all six rooms! These are all amazing rooms that you must do if you get the chance. Bring a team of four. There is so much to see and do that even if you could do it with a smaller team you'll want to be able to have the opportunity to take it all in. The staff was super nice in that they let us complete all of the rooms even though our time had run out on 5 of the 6 rooms. They aren't very chatty but I chalk that up to the amount of reset they need to do after a team works their way through the game. The sets are next level and are some of the best I have come across. Every detail is thought out to such an amazing degree. Kudos to the set team who designed the sets. The puzzles are beyond excellent! The flow was exceptional in every room! Really fun puzzles and gameplay overall.

Really fun and full of puzzles - really enjoyed it - game master was awesome

Went with a first timer and we got out without hints. He loved it and will do more based on that. Great flow and environment, on the easier side but easily done with 2 people.

It was a fun room with a lot of fun surprises.

This is the easiest room in this location. Puzzles needed a bit more.

Its been a while since I've done a room here but I've never been disappointed. The owners take a lot of care designing the rooms themselves and it shows. The staff here is one of the best I've experienced.

This was one of my favorite rooms, and my second favorite here. It had some very fun puzzles, though some were hard for us to accomplish.

Really enjoyed this room. Had some different/challenging games. Fun theme and puzzles. All rooms we did at this location were great!

Even 7 years later, this still stands out as one of the best rooms we have ever done. Aside from the first part of the game, there is almost no text/language elements (as part of the "Alien" part of the game), something we found delightful and entirely novel at the time. Many of the puzzles are deliciously tactile, and there aren't a plethora of conventional locks like a lot of escape rooms. As with every room at Maine Escape Games, it is crafted with an amazing amount of care and attention to detail. We've been looking for 7 years for something to kick this out of it's top 5 spot, and after ~100 rooms, we still haven't found it.
