Escape room

Wonderful escape room with a shocking meta twist, which was out for only a limited time.

The standout feature for this room was its story. What we thought was a standard pirate themed escape room suddenly warped into a twisted experiment conducted on people who like escape rooms. It was filled with meta jokes poking fun at common escape room tropes, mixing light thriller with humor to great effect. The scenery and stage design was another highlight, transporting us from a pirate ship to a deserted island and ending up in a doctor's laboratory.

The room also contained a bonus element, which, sadly, our group was unable to solve in time, so it is a mystery what would have happened had we solved it. While the bonus was fun, it dragged the experience a bit longer, taking away from the story's climax.
