104 escape rooms
This was a room of 2 halves, with an excellent first area- carefully planned & with great props & mental, physical & skill games, then a far less sophisticated end area which sadly felt like a tacky house of horrors made from stuff found in seaside junk shops in comparison. The final area was also really dark- seemingly either in an attempt to disguise how tacky that part is or to make it unnecessarily harder. That ending left a bitter taste even though we escaped, since we’d enjoyed the start so much. We don’t feel that their Skegness branch is in the same league as the Lincoln branch when it comes to sets & decor and this game would have been far better if they simply binned that awful last room part. It’s due to that ending that I cannot give the overall experience a thumbs up.
First half great, end felt like a tacky bolt on to take up time & let the room as a whole down.
