Jail Break - Haunting

Overall, we enjoyed this room. We are a team of 2, so our GM had to slightly modify the room for us at the beginning and each of us had to take on a few extra puzzles, but we like the challenge. We did experience some technical issues in the room, but not with the locks or keypads. Our TV wasn't working so the GM kept time on her phone and we did run into a disconnect on calling for hints. The phone had been disconnected. I think both of these things are highly irregular and don't hold it against them, but still, it was outlr exp so it's worth noting. Other than that the room was pretty typical, locks, key pads etc. Its a small business so we were happy with the quality of everything and personally we enjoyed the room made us think a little more out of the box then we typically do. Our GM was wonderful, friendly and positive. She was happy to help whenever we needed and never made us feel like it was a chore. We're looking forward to going back and finishing the other rooms.

The room was super basic with minimal special effects. It was 90% locks with keys and combos. The other rooms there are much better.

We didn’t know what else to do on a Sunday night in Bowling Green, KY; so we decided to book an escape room through the Visitor’s Bureau Website. The owner called us shortly after to let us know their AC was out and he would just give us a refund, but we told him we still wanted to play because the sun was down and we needed to pass some time. This is literally where it all began for our escape room fandom. Looking back, it is a simpler room design, but for 2 people who had NEVER played before, the owner gave us some pointers and guidance and our first introduction to what is now our favorite hobby.
