Some say that the inspiration for the character of doctor Frankenstein came from Johann Conrad Dippel, a German scientist, who was born in the Frankenstein castle. Could they be right? I really liked this game. However, the most memorable part of it was the very first ‘puzzle’ not working for us and questioning what we were doing wrong for almost 7 minutes before we were told to use a lot of force (which goes against everything we’ve ever been told in every other escape room… like ever). Oh well… we didn’t escape and it’s the only one we haven’t escaped. Kind of sour over it. I do not like the fact that you don’t have a timer going… and it didn’t feel like we had been in there for an hour when the ‘end’ came… looked at my watch after we got our stuff and it had hit an hour a few minutes after I grabbed my stuff. That felt a little cheap… not sure I would return just based on that. We were one puzzle away from solving the entire thing. :/

“It was a wonderfully done set…simple, but clever, puzzles in there. The hint system here wasn’t ideal.“
