Runaway Train

A fun theme/story and a mixture of ‘classic’ puzzles with locks and codes and tasks that require a bit more outside-the-box-thinking. The team at Xscape are all super fun, friendly enthusiasts and this is reflected in the quality of the rooms. Very impressive!

This room was fun, with great theming and a range of puzzles. The puzzles were relatively easy but were in-keeping with the theme. The final puzzle felt a bit anticlimactic for the escape moment. But still a fun experience and Xscape Now are clearly a company that puts a lot of thought into their theming and experience. Our game host was so lovely!

What fun. Lovely story and in theme puzzles that were a good mixture and make us think. Quality build as for all their games with great hosting giving the nudge only when really stuck which made for maximum enjoyment having worked a few out after getting stuck. Really strong room

I loved this room (only one I thought was better was Battleships although this was my son's favourite of all of XscapeNow's rooms). Very large, some tougher puzzles and a bit non-linearity albeit not necessarily that well signposted so do remember everything you have done and seen as you go along! it is possible to mess up one bit which would stop you progressing, we didn't but I presume if you did the host would help!

A nice big multi-room set with plenty of puzzles to do, but I think my expectations were set a bit high by online reviews - most puzzles were simple code padlock based, I think I'd expected slightly more tech for a fairly new room

One of the most thrilling and intense escape rooms I've ever experienced. The wild west cowboy train theme was executed to a high standard and the fact we only managed to stop the train with seconds to spare made it even more dramatic. A must play room!

Wow! One of the trickiest rooms we’ve completed so far. It was hard as a two due to the size, but doable. Some good nudges in the right direction. Loved a number of the puzzles, and not come across some of these before. Definitely one of my favourite room I’ve completed so far!

Yeehaw! Great looking set. Puzzles flowed well. Cowboys on a Wild West train, what’s not to love?!
