We completed both of the rooms at this venue in a weekend away and were somewhat disappointed that they were very, very similar in puzzle design and format. The GM was great and was very welcoming, introducing the room well. This was the better of the two rooms as the set design was better and made a little more sense.

101 escape rooms
The host was very friendly and was happy to take out feedback on board. It’s nice to see independently run rooms and custom puzzles. However there’s no soundtrack in the room, so you hear a lot of conversation/phone calls outside for the duration (this wasn’t our host however). We also didn’t feel the objective also wasn’t clear and there is a lot of extra set dressing, and as the puzzles don’t always flow, it’s hard to know what’s relevant. Whilst opening drawers, it’s written on them what should be inside (which takes away from immersion).
