Murdoch Mysteries: The Secret of Station House No. 4

We had a good time. It’s not really my kind of theme to be honest, but still there were some great moments. Compared to King of the Bootleggers this was a much simpler set up. I am surprised it is a recent TERPECA nominee. Also we were on the last puzzle and the actor didn’t help hint us through it which left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. I think they like to keep the escape rate low for the game.

We enjoyed this game and escaped with a decent time. As much as I love escape rooms working with strangers is really a hit or miss experience. Luckily we had a fantastic team which led to a good experience . These games would be better with a private group

We did this room right before it closed and it was fun but there were some run down pieces that caused a lot of confusion and ultimately led us to run out of time. Was also tricky that there were a lot of people in the room so hard to keep track of what was being solved and if progress was or wasn’t being made.

Solid room, only had issues with it as the public booking only ended up with 4 people in a room that could have had up to 12. If you have a larger group you’ll have a lot easier time. The puzzles were really varied, fun, and fair for a mix of experience levels. Actors are fantastic as always here too.
