The Fun House

Very fun game! We didn’t ask for many hints, but our GM Mina was in character throughout and enthusiastic and helped to make it an unforgettable experience for us. Children friendly, not scary, wacky, lots of cool props and locks left and right. This room was pretty puzzle/lock heavy and would be a bit difficult for younger children, but I’m aware that they have a kids version (that we did NOT play), but the option is there which is very cool!

Great room, good for large group, you will get split up and have to work alone. Can be hard. I've done it twice. The first time was hard but it was changed and seemed easier the second time

Puzzles are super fun they were not as hard, and gm was great !

A good room for groups that are starting out. Not incredibly challenging, but fun to do with a big assortment of tasks and all kinds of puzzles.

This is a great place. The fun house was fun and not too tough. I highly recommend "pushing the button".

An overwhelming list of puzzles at the beginning. It is nonlinear which allowed the group of 2 of us to divide and try to conquer? Not my favorite room at this location.

Before playing this game, the Cross Roads staff shared with us that this was the first game they have ever made! It is a low tech, lock and key room but the original hint system makes this one a memorable experience on par with their other rooms. My group played the adult version and the puzzles were challenging. I do tend to overthink puzzles so we had a harder time getting started but once we did, we sped through the rest. I could imagine this being difficult to do with only 2 people, so I would recommend at least 4 people to run around the space and split up. I love the carnival theme and I’m curious as to how they change it up for the kid version.

I played the room with my family (group of 5) we all had lots of fun and the room was non-linear so there was plenty for us to spread out and do. There were a large number of physical locks and puzzles but it didn’t really take away from the experience. This is my second room at Cross Roads and I will definitely be coming back to finish the set!

Loved this escape room! I was a bit wary that it would be childish or cheesy or lame, but there were jokes and stuff that legitimately made me laugh and I enjoyed the puzzles and their difficulty level. Only cheesy/kiddish like once or twice, not the whole time. They also mentioned that it can be altered to cater towards age 9 - 13, so it's a great game for people of most ages. Decor was also really awesome, don't forget to look at the ceiling when you first walk in. Niko was our gamemaster, he did a great job with the character voice and the hints being given in character as well. If you're hesitating, just do it cuz I had a lot of fun and you would too :) (pls ignore the emojis on our photo, none of our faces were ready hahah)
