Mayan Tomb

I do love this room. You feel like a Tomb Raider or Indiana Jones. Though we lost a lot of time on faulty mechanisms. Some key items didn’t open even after we solved the puzzles linked to them. The host later explained that the cases were supposed to be spring-loaded and automatically pop open, but two of the three stayed shut. Because they didn’t open on their own, we had no way of knowing they were actually unlocked. As a result, we spent about ten minutes stuck, not realizing the solutions had worked, until the host chimed in via audio and we had to pry the containers open. We still had a blast, but that was annoying. Keep this in mind when solving!

Mostly a fun room. Does have one or two puzzles that definitely need a hint as we did not see any indication as to what we should do next.

the room was super immersive and we were so excited- but there were no indications around the room of what we should be doing. it was one of those rooms where you almost have to take the hint to know what to do next. game master was a guy, and wasn’t nice. I just wish there were clues in the room, rather than having to guess where things go. It got frustrating. Could’ve knocked it out of the park, but was a miss.

Group of 4. Second one we did at this location. Room was good. We split up and had no issues getting through. We overlooked an step so took a clue to figure it out. Different puzzles which was cool.

This was simply an amazing room! The Mayan Tomb was really well themed and utterly enjoyable. The puzzles were difficult at first, but once you really get moving they are much easier and perfectly themed. However, if you want to know the real gem, it's Soryu the Game Master, the guy had excellent taste in music, but far better when his skill at game mastering. You know how a good storyteller can make everything better? Well if you don't head here and ask for Soryu. (I am sure the other GMs are awesome, but he's the best one I've ever had).

The environment of this game was very immersive and fun. However, the flow and signposting greatly struggled. We wanted to like this more!

so freaking cool. there were lots of things hidden low in dark spots that we didn't see until we were sent a hint along the lines of "check all the dark corners..." so if you do this room CHECK EVERY CORNER AND CHECK LOW. most puzzles we couldn't solve were from the fact that we were missing something hidden.

Challenging room with a very immersive theme. Very fun experience for players with a bit of experience
